  1. Strange analogy - but Lambert did seem to be playing as a rather slow winger at times.
  2. "Dire" is stretching it a bit. He did ok - as did they all.
  3. It's "lose" not "loose" FFS!! I feel I am fighting a loosing battle here
  4. Well, if you are ultimately proved right, what would you like us to do? Shall we get a bronze statue of you erected next to Ted or something....or maybe we can just chant your name instead of Leibherr in our Championship matches.
  5. You should try watching a game - then your view will be worth something. We dominated a team in the top four today and got mugged by a special player. There was no evidence of "being asleep". I was sitting with the Spurs fans, and the general consensus was the better team lost.
  6. Plus, of course, we would have gone down regardless of who won that match.
  7. No - that was Chris Maguire from Derby (not WBA)
  8. How did they help Pompey in the past? What are you on about?!
  9. Just crawl away pleeeeeease!
  10. They weren't singing anything!
  11. Don't Norwich have WBA? They are s h ite
  12. I was in with the Spurs fans, and contrary to recent reports, our support is /was awesome. Well done guys (and gals). That is all......
  13. Me too
  14. don't remember that and I have been watching for 37 years. I must be going senile Must be this one http://www.11v11.com/matches/southampton-v-aston-villa-30-april-1994-21690/ But we still had two games to play after that (Spurs and West Ham away)
  15. That statement beggars belief !!
  16. Whose fiance did you mate with??
  17. It was Bob De Bilde that scored at Highbury in the 3-3 draw that relegated them the last time In 89-90 they were relegated on GD under Atkinson having been been considered safe right up until the last game or two. An unusual set of results accompanying their own home defeat (sure it was Forest) sent them down.
  18. ....anyway, they both went down (at some point)
  19. That was Sheffield United not Sheffield Wednesday
  20. No not the Tevez todo. I just remember them getting relegated after losing at home to Forest (I think) having been considered safe as houses up to the last two fixtures. I think Big Ron was the manager so it must have been very early '90's I suppose. They also got relegated after drawing 3-3 with Arsenal at Highbury in 2000 methinks.
  21. Is it just a regurgitation of the interview on Saints Player a few days ago?
  22. Isn't Didcot getting his Sheffields confused? It sounds like he is referring to the time that Sheff Wed got relegated from the top flight.
