Sorry, but pointless thread.
-
Standard meaningless rhetoric whenever there is a fracas. Means nothing.
-
Is a result by the reserves in the capital one cup relevant then?
-
Blimey - soon ran out of breath reading that. Can't accuse you of overdoing the punctuation!
-
Although their net spend this season is less that £5m
-
That sounds like complete fabrication SS
-
Out of curiosity, why would we want to talk about a game that is ancient history on a thread about injuries?
-
Which Sunderland game aren't we allowed to talk about?
-
Hardly requires saying, but we have never been title contenders so far this season and that won't change for the remainder of the season.
-
Finding negatives in a performance like that, considering the opposition and our injuries, is a truly remarkable feat of the imagination. Great thread for that reason alone.
-
Do you mean "thread" or "forum"??

Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-3 Aston Villa
kpturner replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
You can't blame Gazza directly for any of those goals. He was not directly responsible for any of the goals against Chelsea either, unless you are in cloud cuckoo land. The first one was a cock-up by Yoshida, and then Lovren dived in and got easily side-stepped (I though Agbonlahor was going to square it anyway). The second was down to Cork, although if you wanted to be really picky you could have said that Gazza could have come off his line and attempted a punch (either the ball or the player). The third - again Agbonlahor should have been put on his @rse before he passed to Delph, and then Delph should have been closed down - everyone just back-peddled and gave him no option other than belt it. -
I don't want anyone banned - but there are several posters whom I wish would lose their passwords.

You have to be infantile to be a mod I guess.
-
Wasn't that the game that we were 2-0 up and lost 3-2 - the winner being scored by our own Steve Davis?
-
Is somebody going to fix the thread title?
-
i think Boruc is a much better keeper - but regardless of that, blaming Gazza for that goal is nonsense. He actually did nothing wrong while he was on. Saying otherwise is just looking for a scapegoat.
-
I have watched it several times - and to say that Boruc or anyone else would have got a hand on it is complete speculation. It is a completely futile argument - but I have more faith in the pundits who have reviewed the goals than the oddballs on here - and I have nor heard or read anything that lays the blame on the keeper for any of the goals.
-
You must live in some sort of parallel universe where goalkeepers are superhumans
-
You just proved the point Derry was trying to make. Bus conductors wear hats and carry ticket machines btw.

Evidently

It's baffling really. Clearly good enough for Italy, but looks totally out of his depth in the EPL. I keep waiting for him to perform, but he just doesn't seem to have enough about him to do so. I don't mean banging in goals left, right and centre - today whenever he got the ball he lost it. Very frustrating

Please see post #74 - saved me the bother.

True - they should start scouring neutral forums to get their information along with deluded PP
