  1. Agree that we haven't been stuffed (yet) but we have still lost too many to be classed as difficult to beat. Losing is losing - and when it just by the odd goal it just makes it harder to disregard. You keep getting those "what if" thoughts, like that f***ing penalty incident at Everton.
  2. Another one to add to the "threads I started" count. You must be up to several a day now? Are you retired, unemployed or just bored at work? I realise it is the holiday season now, but what about the rest of the year?
  3. Poor? Had one or two ineffective games maybe.

Is Jeremy Wilson a Saints fan?
  5. Somebody should have let MLT (another (ex) England reserve) know that he was born in the wrong country.
  6. lol this! So by your reckoning every South American footballer is, by default, more skilful than anyone born in England?
  7. You said "Gaston has more skill" in response to a post comparing him to Lallana......so please explain what you did mean - Gaston has more skill than who/what?? Oh by the way Roge - thanks for the PM offering to meet me for a spot of fisticuffs
  8. What a completely nonsensical statement that is. We are playing some good teams with decent defences more like.
  9. Roge - you really are a bit simple mate. I like Ramirez, but "more skill than Lallana"??
  10. Disgusting?? Which 3 defensive midfielders are you referring to?
  11. Is this because you have already personally found him guilty of spitting, or because he has insulted you in some way?
  12. Lovren should be captain IMHO. Difficult to take it from Lallana though without generating a furore.
  13. Strange how you are the first to know
  14. Errr.... "#1" is the same as "no. 1" is the same as "number 1" HTH
  15. Hull?? Did he dress up as Wanyama for that game then?
  16. From where I was sitting in the Itchen, the support from the North Stand was pretty good most of the time. Went a bit quiet in the second half, but it is difficult when the team are serving up that sort of defensive chaos.
  17. He definitely makes me go into a cold sweat, but I could not fault him for any of the goals at the stadium, and now I have watched the goals again on Sky Plus I still cannot lay the blame at his door. The first was a fantastic finish by Adebayor. The second was toe-poked past him at point blank range by Hooiveld. The third was just shocking defending - especially by Fox who let Adebayor go, and even then it was bad luck that the shot went through Lovren's legs.
  18. Gazza covered his near post as you'd expect. The ball was pulled back and Hooiveld toe-poked it past him - it didn't just hit him. If he was a striker you would class it as a great instinctive finish
  19. Who is this Andy Shoulders geezer?
  20. A truly laughable assessment - well done!
  21. Yes of course I read it but, like the person who wrote it, I am of the opinion that the agreement will just be disregarded if they really want to. To say he, and players like him, will NEVER play for England is nonsense. Sooner or later the agreement will be binned, either by mutual "agreement" or one nation just ignoring it...by which time he will have already been capped elsewhere. Rules, much less agreements, are never set in stone in perpetuity.
  22. Wrong forum surely?
  23. The only reason why Januzaj won't eventually be eligible to play for England is the fact he is highly likely to be capped by another country before he qualifies. Same for MS.
