That sounds like pure speculation to me - some would say libellous in fact. Rumours are just some persons made up junk unless they can be substantiated.

Why so many rumours about our best players leaving?

What rumours? -
I don't rally care how his home (or away) record stacks up. What I care about is the fact that we are/were completely safe from relegation in February. Absolutely fantastic season so far wouldn't you say? You'd have to be a seriously miserable individual to find fault IMHO
-
No he wasn't - he was quoting the wrong post - ha!
-
Judging by Hooiveld's reaction on Instagram to the Echo version, more has been made of his words than he intended.
-
Not for me I am afraid. Cannot stand him....although I think I am being largely influenced by his "just woken up after an hours sleep following a 24 hour drink/drugs binge" hang-dog appearance.
-
That is a bit radical! Surely you can only assess his commitment and passion by watching what he does on the touchline, or by the fact that he uses a translator, or that he deliberately threw the FA cup tie at Sunderland?? Trying to suggest that his demeanor with players and coaching staff is relevant is preposterous.
-
I don't agree. I hope you are OK with that.
-
Can anybody point out the connection between MP's use of a translator and Ricky Lambert's performances? Did you quote the wrong post Billy, or did you just want to say that you think Lambert has been rubbish this season? You can do that without having to quote anyone you know. HTH

Yes - but there is a big difference between communicating with friends/family or colleagues and trying to do the same in front of the media or on national/international TV. As I said, I don't disagree with your point, but I do empathise with him.....and I don't blame him for using a translator if it is made readily available at all times.
-
I just think it is very hard to learn a new language to a level were you are comfortable and fluent. I've tried! I don't think it is a lack of anything other than confidence in ones ability to communicate effectively. If he is still here in 2 years time and still uses a translator then I would start to question it though.
-
I don't disagree with that - I just don't think it's an indicator of a lack of passion or desire.
-
The only people that can truly assess any change in his desire or passion are the people that work with him on a daily basis - i.e the players and coaching staff. Making such judgements by observing him from the stands, or from the way he conducts his interviews, carries very little substance. One can make anything fit ones own agenda/opinion that way. Personally I am not sure if he will stay or go. I hope he stays. If he goes, then that is the time I will start to speculate about a replacement.

Actually I agree about Adkins after the Coventry match. I have absolutely no idea why you would think my opinion on MP is somehow indicative of of an inability to assess a persons demeanour. What you say about MP is, however, in my opinion, complete and utter nonsense. The points you raise barely warrant a response, but out of politeness: Have you ever tried to learn a new language and reach a level were you would be comfortable addressing a press conference unassisted? You seem to think it's easy, so I guess you have. MP is obviously not as clever as you. With regard to the Cup game, of course he didn't throw it - the players let him/us down. Yes, he may have underestimated the fans desire to win that match, but to say he "threw" it is laughable - IMHO of course.
-
I'd have Suarez in my team any day. If he signed for Saints (obviously talking hypothetically) I would be absolutely delighted. Clearly you wouldn't!
-
If it is all the same to you then, I think that is complete nonsense (not that you'll care of course).

We strive for perfection - do we struggle to cope with any less?
kpturner replied to DuncanRG's topic in The Saints
Actually we were 3-0 up. Carry on.... -
I wasn't going to bother to post after this match but reading that did make me laugh - nice one SC
-
Fairthorne Manor? . Nearly gave you away there.......
-
What is a "funk" and in what way is he in one....and when did it start? or is it just a figment of your imagination?
-
Oh no, not the proverbial Plan B again. One of the more irritating football fan cliches - levelled at managers by people who probably wouldn't recognise one if it slapped them in the face. There doesn't seem to be a manager in the world who has one of these mystical plan B's, especially after a loss.
-
Please elaborate on that.

A bit like the way West Ham have just dragged themselves out of the relegation zone
