I expect a lot more clubs would do it if a) they had decent young players in the pipeline and b) they are unlikely to drop any league places regardless. Surely our current position is ideal to blood younger players like Reed and Gallagher. We do not loan out our youngsters - it seems to be a deliberate policy, and I trust the reasoning of those that made the policy. You have a perfect right to your opinion on Gallagher, but I think you are way of base in this regard. Some of your posts on this thread sound like you are desperate to be categorised with Glasgow Saint and Barry Sanchez! All IMHO of course....

I have had one particular poster on "ignore" for quite some time. It is the first and only poster I have tried this with. There are others that I am tempted to ignore but haven't so far. The trouble is, some threads are literally festooned with "This message is hidden....." posts from this particular individual - and not only that, people keep quoting him anyway! One such quote in this thread reveals the ignoree claiming "I think I average about 5 a day..." - absolutely hilarious assertion if ever I saw it . If anyone conjures up an image of a sad and lonely bloke spending each and every waking hour looking and posting on this forum, it is this guy. He absolutely cannot have anything else in his life than SWF - a pretty sad state of affairs.

Done pretty well again today to be fair. He certainly has played a major part in dragging Sunderland out of the bottom three. 5 goals in a couple of weeks and MoM today. Still not convinced he would be a good buy for us even if they were to let him go tbh.

Definitely feel sorry for him...or anyone who gets labelled a failure in such a public way. That said, I would also be absolutely devastated if he ever got near to managing Saints.

That would be nice.....but sadly at least one person will whine about our terrible support after every match, just as sure as night follows day. Of course, when I was a teenager I would be extremely irritated by the people around me that would not contribute to the atmosphere.....but the older you get the more hypocrisy you are allowed to exhibit
