Just read the OP - it is all there is to know other than confirmation on the Echo site. Other than that it is just some (occasionally) amusing drivel which I have been guilty of contributing to.

Have you been lately? The first one is still in use and the second one.....well it is just plain sh1te and can only be sung with one of those old football rattles in your hand (which we can't get in with).

True, but was this thread not about our team having the same values etc as Barcelona? I think our financial situation prevents us from sticking two fingers up at a potential shirt sponsor whereas Barcelona can - so in that regard we cannot emulate them......actually we can't emulate them in any regard can we?

All these **** poor irish jokes remind me of the time that Man City got taken over recently. While the cameras were on the reporter outside the stadium talking about the take-over, clueless City fans danced around behind him with fake turbans on and doing eqyptian dances. Welcome to Manchester City?? They couldn't even get the country right! If this Irish take over takes place are we going to see similar scenes outside St Mary's with dumb-ass fans dancing around dressed as leprechauns - just to make them feel welcome?
