Personally I think you are more interested in the number of posts your thread gets than the actual content. It is true isn't it? Here is another one for you (just as irrelevant) - and by the way, it is "you're" not "your".

I seriously doubt the guy is cognisant of any of these dubious "facts" - all he can see are the words "Premier League". I would also doubt he has ever seen Fratton Park or the current training facilities, and the previous owner would also probably skirted over the fact that he will be buying a loss making entity of enormous proportions. Sounds a bit more like an impulse buy to get a PL club that appears to be relatively cheap. If he is worth £300m (sic) he'll probably blow that in about 4-5 seasons and wish he had stayed out of it. :-)

Given the current situation, I can't quite understand the point of this thread (having clicked on it by mistake). If we ever get confirmation that SFC will survive as a going concern then bring it all on - until then.......

It was about 6 months ago - it sounded like some sort of pre-recorded thing to be honest.

Intelligence and foresight are not high on your average football fans list of qualities. I should know because I am one ;-) - but I do take care not to make broad sweeping statements about people.

He was good - but then he came back recently with some other show and it was complete tosh - sounded like he was ******ed. When and why did he go anyway? Seemed like one minute he was there and the next he wasn't. Same with: * Their digital sky channel * DAB broadcast * Jimmy Case - what happened there? I heard that Gordon Watson only got about £50 expenses for covering an away game so that is why he knocked it on the head.

There is nobody around to update it of course. I expect it is hosted on some server somewhere that will stay online until the next bill comes due.

Kinda puts things in perspective though. Lots of people on this forum (me included) fretting about whether or not we will have a football club next season - which is a country mile away from what the staff at SFC are currently going through wondering how they are going to pay the bills this month or, indeed, if they will have a job at all after next Friday.
