That photo has been confirmed as fake by a guy on Twitter. Its from a news article from a month ago and someone has added the emojis as a wind up

Can't see the club ever announcing anything at 3pm on a weekday. They'd want maximum reach and exposure so would always make sense to be between 6 and 8 when people are home and using the internet
-
Completely agree with this. Maybe if we go 3-0 down a protest is warranted, but a toxic atmosphere from the start only depletes our already slim chances of getting a result. We should go into every game ready to support the team and react accordingly as the game unfolds, rather than arrive with the express intent of chastising. Go into things with a negative attitude and they to turn out negatively. im hoping for a win to take us up to 14th. COYR!

I don't care about performances anymore. MP is clearly going nowhere and he's not going to change his style so we may as well just support the team and hope for the best. I can see it being 1-0 either way where both teams look **** and its last on MOTD
-
People are very quick to be negative at the moment. Yes we’ve a couple of shaky moments at the back but it’s a makeshift back line. Granted we don’t look brilliant but we were clearly the better side in that half. JWP and Boufal playing well.
-
This is my thoughts. Be angry at Pellgrino, Reed, Krueger etc all you like before and after the game. But for 90 minutes support the team because we need wins and confidence
-
To get both would be great, provided Sturridge is a loan which makes him pretty low risk. Remember he's got a big point to prove if he wants to make the World Cup squad. Having Theo back would be brilliant. He's not unlike Long in terms of pace but with the added ability to score goals. I think it's a bit harsh to call him a has been, he's only 28 and has a good few years of football in front of him. I get the feeling he's a bloke who needs to be loved and seen as the main man, and he'd get that here.

100% (Assuming nobody else goes)

Oh dear. As close to 19th as we are to 10th and Chelsea up next
-
Granted he might not be in the form of his life, but I think it's more than a little harsh to say our player of the season from last year needs replacing. I thought a draw was a fair result in the end. Both teams had good opportunities to score, we maybe shaded it. We looked liked the better team going forward but we looked a bit shaky at the back.

YYYYEYEYEEEEESSSS

Bloody hell.for someone who's often specifically used for counter attacking, how often does Long **** up a counter attack? Hojberg off, Boufal on. Played well again tonight did PEH
-
Matter of time until they score again. Their movement is just insanely good. This is one THE great PL teams out there, no shame in losing here.

All due respect but I don't see how Puel has any relevance on our current situation. Puel was the wrong man. So is Pellegrino. If I have a **** in the evening the **** I had in the morning was still ****.
-
Out unfortunately. He was completely the wrong fit from the start. I said when he was linked that he seemed to be exactly the same as Puel in terms of style and I stand by that. Who do we get in though? Unlikely to go for someone currently employed, and this time Les won't have several weeks to **** around. Worrying.

God it's chronic at the moment. Ever since the cup final really we've been pretty dire and I'm just so bored. Even the wins in that time haven't exactly been what you'd call exciting. It's almost like when we lost Fonte, and in doing so lost the last member of a team who had so much togetherness with each other and the fans, that we've lost our identity. At this point if I was a neutral I'd be picking us to go down. There's time to turn it round obviously, but it needs to happen quickly.

Try link 4 on wiziwig. Working fine for me

Not played badly but we don't look like creating anything from open play. Painfully inept up front.

Good idea for a thread this. And MP said something when he came in about creating a style that suits the best players rather than the other way round so makes sense. For me, on current form: VVD, Yoshida, Hoedt, Cedric, Bertrand, Lemina, Romeu, Davis, Tadic, Gabbiadini. So that would suggest the following: -----Yoshida -- VVD -- Hoedt ----- Cedric -- Romeu - Lemina -- Bertrand ----- Davis - Gabbiadini - Tadic ----- Looks a very solid team and I can't imagine we'd concede many goals but it doesn't look overly attacking. My problem with any formation with wing back is always that they become the main point of attack in the game whilst also having to be responsible for defending which is a lot of pressure. I think Bertrand and Cedric are capable enough and experienced enough to deal with that but I'd worry about how effective Targett/McQueen/Pied would be should injuries occur (which they will)
-
Very, very poor. What is the plan? What are the tactics? We look completely directionless. This may seem knee jerk but I'm worried about this season. I think the 5 points we've got so far are flattering and I don't feel confident of beating anyone.
-
If you really think all of our poor performances are down to one coach then no offence, but you're deluded.

This. We as fans should rise above it and be the bigger man. A reminder of a quote from Schniederlin: “But I sensed from the hierarchy at Southampton that they were not going to let me leave. They would prefer to leave me lying in the gutter for six months, if necessary. So I started training, I tried enjoying my football again and I was made to play against Liverpool on the opening day. At Anfield all the Southampton fans applauded me and chanted my name. That warmed my heart. I knew then that I would spend the season here".
-
Rumours that Llorente may head to Spurs, and if so Janssen may be allowed out on loan. CHDAJFU? Good scoring record in Holland and not really had a chance to prove himself at Tottenham behind Kane
-
I didn't watch the game today but I wasn't surprised when I checked the result to see Southampton nil. I just don't see where regular goals are going to come from with this team because we create so little and then miss what we do create! - Since the start of 2015-16, Southampton have recorded more 0-0 draws than any other PL team - Southampton have failed to score in eight of their past 11 Premier League games, scoring just seven goals from 144 shots in these matches (4.9%). I'm not a negative fan, I like to look at the light and dark of every result/performance, but those stats are pretty worrying. We need some more flair in the team. We thought we'd done that but if Boufal isn't the answer we hoped he'd be then get rid and replace him.
-
I think we need an attacking midfielder who knows where the goal is and a striker who can hold the ball up and knows where the goal is. I have no idea whether this'll come off. I miss Pelle
