Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition
CWD replied to Jimmy_D's topic in The Saints
I'm pretty sure Dobbie is only on loan at Blackpool from Swansea. Ince and Phillips would be great though! -
Thank god you posted, it would've been so embarrassing when we turned up wearing the same thing.
-
This thread is hilarious. Who gives a flying **** what people wear? Each to their own and all that. It's not as if people are forcing wigs and foam hands onto your person so what's the problem? May not be my cup of tea, but I'm not about go around telling people to stop it because some nasty Man Utd fans are making fun of us. Grow a pair of balls!

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition
CWD replied to Jimmy_D's topic in The Saints
We really need an experienced CM I think. Someone nearing the end of their career but still with the quality to improve us. Someone mentioned Ballack earlier, and although that is obviously unlikely I reckon someone in that mold would be perfect. If Brum don't go up then Curtis Davies would without doubt be my first choice for CB. Matt Jarvis would be quality too. -
Which saints will have made their national team within the next year?

Gully will go to the Olympics as one of Brazil's overage players. FACT -
Haha superb! Thanks for that mate

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS get in! What a day! Slight regret that I couldn't be there but I'll be celebrating tonight!

Lambert Morgan Davis

Very disappointed. Not much else to say.

We're crap on TV, we're crap on TV, we are southampton, we're crap on TV
-
Basically, yes.
-
I'll be watching on a stream in Florida as I did for the Reading game. Worst timed holiday ever.
-
Have to agree, I'm desperate to see us win a league. Still, it's not over yet, and it was a decent performance tonight. Just look at some of the comments on BBC and you'll see that most people are complimenting the lads. We need to move on and destroy Peterborough on Tuesday. A birthday present for me please Saints!

It doesn't help when half the crowd leave on 35 mins and don't get back up until 10 mins into the 2nd half. Mental. Apart from that it was alright, I was in the Chapel today and it was without doubt the best atmosphere I've experienced down that end of the ground.
-
I thought it was pathetic. A bunch of grown men acting like complete cocks. Made us look small time and then very stupid 3 mins later. Why do it? It hardly makes you look big or cool, I mean Lallana and Sharp were impressed weren't they? Idiots.

Skates Skates wherever you may be Look out for the boys from HMRC You stole loads of cash To buy the FA Cup Now the Skates are going down as the Saints go Up!

I've got no problem with women working behind the scenes at football clubs. Chairwomen, secretarys, chief execs, physios etc is fine and many women are more qualified than men in these areas. I can't see a woman becoming a manager though. At least not until women's football goes pro in the UK.
-
It's not just that though is it. I really like that as a club we're committed to securing young talent, and creating our team ourselves.
-
Haha well played sir! It did surprise me that nobody had mentioned it! Apologies mods

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2709378,00.html Articles like this really reconfirm my belief in the vision that NC is trying to create. Welcome aboard Sam!
-
Remember how good Chaplow was at the start of the season before his injury? At the time I thought he would be a bit part player for us in the NPC but he had a good preseason and was quality until he turned his knee. Watch Billy do the same. He'll grab a few more goals before the end of the season but won't set the world alight. Then he'll be worked harder than he's ever worked in his life in July and August and we'll see a PL quality player. Trust me.
-
It's just because people are so quick to jump on his mistakes. No-one ever seems to say he has a quiet game, he's either very good or total ****. This is because if he doesn't do something superb, people will only remember the mistakes he made. Defensively I think he's actually very good but gets no credit for it. Sometimes we do carry him, but sometimes we carry Lallana and people don't moan then. That's the risk you take with luxury, flair players.

Thought that was only available on a stream?
-
True. I remember a couple of seasons ago when we were in great form under Pardew, went on TV and got tonked 3-1 by Brighton at home. It is weird.
