Although I appreciate how articulately you've replied to my post, you have in fact completely missed the point.

For many varying reasons, I was at St Mary's today for the first time since the Skate game. On thing I noticed which seemed worse than in previous seasons was the amount of fans heading down into the concourses for half time with so long remaining of the first half. I started noticing people leaving their seats as early as the 38th minute. Now, this is not a holier than thou, you're a crap fan post, I just noticed the marked difference in atmosphere in the crowd at the end of the first half. People seemed far more restless and unfocused (I guess due to standing up to let people past) and it seemed more relaxed as though it was already half time. I wonder if this transfers to the players at all as those last few minutes were a bit of a non entity football wise. If people stayed in their seats and kept roaring the team on right to the whistle, I reckon we would be far more effective in these last few minutes. Just my idle musings. On the whole I thought the fans were great today, especially when Nigel came out.

I thought we played very well today, particularly Cork who was outstanding. Also, for 89.5 minutes of that game we actually looked fairly comfortable defensively. One **** up and you get punished. Feel a bit gutted but Adkins did nothing wrong today. The way we set up made it very difficult for Britton and the other Swansea midfielders to dominate. And Fonte did a great job in marking Michu out of the game completely. Play like that next week and we'll beat QPR, I'm sure. Lambert destroyed Monk today. Felt quite sorry for the bloke!

Brilliant post. Well said. I think this'll be a 1-1 draw.

You'll never guess what result Lawro is predicting... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20153171

Bit harsh, we've scored goals from all over the pitch this season.
-
Yeah I think we will. There's a hell of a long way to go and we can't carry on this form. Get Ramirez back to add a bit of creativity to our attack, get a settled first 11 and cut the ridiculous mistakes. On the whole fans don't really appreciate 'form'. I'd like to remind people of the classic thread from a couple of seasons ago entitled "time to accept we won't get promoted...", which appeared just before one of the best runs of form in the club's history. Get behind the team, get behind the manager, and we can turn our form around.

On a positive note, I feel as disappointed tonight as I did when we lost by a similar scoreline to Swindon in the JPT a few seasons ago. That was just before NA came in and turned things around. Let's see where we are after the next 4 games. Adkins has earned the right to last until the end of the season at least IMO, but I reckon if things haven't improved after Newcastle then the trigger may be pulled...

Just got in, how are we playing?
-
I really don't think getting rid of Adkins will make any difference. The problem we have is that our defensive players (except maybe Clyne) are not good enough. Yoshida is distinctly average from what I've seen, he is certainly not the saviour we hoped for. Get Aaron Martin back and give him a go. Can't be any worse, and losing Harding before signing a replacement was a mistake as well.

We seem to have lost that desire, particularly in our counter attacking, that served us so well in the games against City and United. Puncheon also blows too hot and cold to be relied upon, he's given it away so many times today, and Fox is out of position so often it's ridiculous. However, whoever booed at half time is a tool.

Spurs look very good tbf, but then, we make most teams look word class!
-
Nigel deserves at least until the end of the season
-
Our defence is absolutely laughable.
-
woot for the goal Cork gone down heavily - unwoot
-
Where does Fox go? His positional sense is really appalling. On the plus side we have been the better team, and Fonte is starting to acclimatise to PL level. It's just final ball that lets us down time and time again.

Do you think there will be a live stream for the arsenal game?
CWD replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
Anyone know of any stream websites that work on iPad? -
I wish Chaplow had been on the bench. Had we brought him on with 15 to go he would have been fresh and could have harried Scholes a lot more. What with Cork being injured, we had no CMs in reserve which was a mistake, especially as we started a 17 year old. As I've already said, MS, SD and JWP were immense, but I really think we could have done with some fresh legs in there.
-
Some of our passing and moving is brilliant. Was really, really impressed with Punch, Lambert, S Davis, JWP and Lallana (again) but MOTM for me was Schniederlin. Immense today. Don't think he lost the ball once. Utd's defence couldn't deal with the movement of the front 3 and our midfield 3 absolutely dominated theirs. HOWEVER I'm concerned about our defence. I don't think any of Fonte, Hooiveld or Fox are consistent enough, which is concerning considering the lack of depth we have in this area. We have to cut out the silly mistakes which you get away with in the NPC, but the better teams will punish you, as they did today. NA's subs were poor, never seen Guly come off the bench and play well (and I'm not a Guly basher btw) and again today he should have closed the cross down better. Conclusion... Lots of positives, but lots to work on. we'll get there.
-
He isn't the one who has given away two penalties in the first 3 weeks. Our whole defence is championship standard imo. The rest of the team is almost there, I just he we aren't let down massively by the back 5.

Man City interested in Biglia apparently. Source is SSN

If that's true then how come 'official page' is written in English and not Italian?
