Hibs or Hearts away in August would be good as I'll be in Edinburgh

Got to be Lee Molyneaux. **** me he was awful. It was like he wasn't even a footballer. Honourable mentions to Bennett and Kenton.

Anyone who thinks Ramirez was a bad signing should watch more of this guy. £9m and on huge wages, has been utter carp in every game for QPR. Tbf though, you don't become a bad player over night and he looked good at Madrid. Something has been very wrong at Loftus Rd all season so perhaps a fresh start is what he needs. Same could be said for Hoilett, Park, Bosingwa etc. All would be a risk but have had better seasons in the past than the train wreck of 2012/13.

Morgan Schneiderlin

To be honest they are a massive club for L2 level, and although the -10 will probably hinder them next season, I can see them getting back up to L1 fairly easily in 2014/2015.
-
Does this mean they get the -10 next season then like we did? That would be funny.

If you could get one play in now who would it be? Realistic options

This for me too. Preferably Shawcross. -
This, it seems like the new fashion is to say he's rubbish. He played well yesterday. People are expecting a little too much from him at the moment, he is still only 22.

WHU defended well to be fair and until Jay Rod came on we just weren't running at their defence enough. They dealt with lambert in the air all day. Not much we could do about the goal but the free kick should never have been given away in the first place, Hooiveld is prone to silly mistakes like that, which is why we need to strengthen at CB in the summer. I'm concerned with the panicky moments in defence that we seem to have a couple of times a game, we struggle with getting the ball clear, and Carroll almost scored from it today. Thought Ramirez (appalling free kicks and corners aside) was very good today as was Clyne, but MOTM goes to Cork. What a player he is becoming.

Someone is going to get sent off here. What a save that was by Jaskelainen. Unbelievable.

There will be loads of streams, just check again about 15 mins before kick off

Excellent news. On a side note, anyone know of a video where I can see all our goals from the L1 days? Don't remember either of those and would be nice to see them again.

Don't think we're vastly superior to them at all, I think we'll win but that's because we're in the better form. West Ham have some good players just like we do, albeit players who are suited to a more traditionally unfashionable style of football. Just because they don't play a swift passing game doesn't mean they can't though. It seems very arrogant to me to start saying that we are better in every position and will walk it on saturday, when actually on the whole the two teams are very similar in terms of ability ( the table doesn't lie) but our form should be enough to get us the win. 1-0 Saints, Lallana to score.

POTS 1.Schneiderlin 2. Lambert 3. Cork YPOTS 1. Clyne 2. Shaw 3. Ward-Prowse

No not at all. I always think back to watching us lose at home to Rochdale just before Adkins came in, and I thought then that that was it, we were never going to be a PL team again. Despite the **** that I'd sat through in the previous seasons, that was a real low point, as so much was expected of the team that year and it seemed to be fizzling out before it even started. Then of course NA came in and everything changed very quickly. So with this game in mind, and all the other times I've sat in St Mary's and wondered if I'll ever know success again, no I am enjoying every kick of every game this season, and I'll cheer a goal against Stoke on the last day if we're 10 points clear of relegation just as much as I have cheered the wins against Man City and Chelsea

"Nah, it's about this long, it'll never fit in there"

Liverpool vs. West Ham HOME Spuds vs. Everton NOT BOTHERED Chelsea vs. Sunderland HOME Newcastle vs. Fulham DRAW (but home win ok) QPR vs. Wigan HOME (but draw ok) if the results go like that, we're safe IMO.

That programme cover looks amazing. ( I don't think anyone is trying to pretend it's a real picture)

Keep changing my mind on this one. One minute I'm convinced we'll lose, the next I can only see a big win. BUT I'm gonna be an optimist, we'll thrash them 4-0 and by 3pm on Saturday we'll all be wondering what we were worried about. I didn't realise this was a 1245 kick off though, which means I can't watch it. Text updates from a mate it is for me. Nightmare

Quite fancy an Ali Dia one. Any suggestions on a snappy caption?

Hooiveld has proved over the last few games that he can cope at this level, but I still think he is the weaker of the three. Fonte is more mobile, more vocal and better positionally. If Fonte plays Saturday then I don't think we concede that goal from Terry. I just always think with Hooiveld that a mistake is on its way! (I haven't included Forren because we know naff all about him, but I've heard he's good on FIFA)

Completely fell for it. Hook, line and proverbial sinker. Well done to the club! -
I agree with you. I didn't really articulate my point properly. Clearly if Lambert were to get in the squad, he is not going to play for England for any longer than a couple of seasons. Hodgson believes the likes of Welbeck and Cleverley are going to form the basis of the side for the next 6-10 years. Whether you agree or not (and you and I clearly don't) that is the policy, so that is why I understand the decision to leave him out. The fact it is entirely the wrong way to go about things IMO is completely by the by.
-
Funny how Carroll has one good game and people are talking about him getting back in the England squad. What about having a good season? FWIW I agree that Lambert is not the future for England, so I understand him not being picked. I do think he's made a mug of many top class defenders this season though, and if he carries on this form into next season, surely he has to go to the World Cup no matter his age.

Just got in from work, what a result! Let's get to 40 points, make sure of safety and then crack on. We really could finish really high this season. GET IN!
