I'm 23.

Just my opinion

Ah well, don't let a bitter taste at the end ruin the memory of our best ever season of football. Pochettino is the best manager we've had in my time supporting saints, but we move on. Don't not renew season tickets. We are the club, and we'll always be here. We are still arguably the best available job in Europe - I'm interested to see who takes charge in the next chapter of supporting Saints. Just hope we smash Spurs next season!
-
I think people are being a little conservative. Remember we (currently) have a superb, young team with several internationals, a secure financial situation, and a youth set up that is envied the world over. Not to mention brand new, world class facilities on the way. With all due respect to a bloke I have a lot of time for, we won't be looking at managers the calibre of Nigel Adkins. The Southampton job is a top opportunity (well until we sell half the squad of course!)
-
For the first time I'm thinking he's gonna leave. Nothing in particular to base that on, just a feeling. Up to now I was pretty confident of him staying.

I have no players from Iran yet. Even though I've almost finished loads of other teams.

Haha I see, didn't realise what you meant! -
Celebrated like a total dork when I got Gaston in a pack yesterday

How is life under your rock? -
Very true. But that would be boring. Let the bull****ters bull**** and take everything with a pinch of salt, and just enjoy the ride.
-
This would be absolutely huge news. Lallana would officially become a legend of MLT proportions. Hope it's true.
-
Will give an insight into the intentions of the club. Someone like Laudrup would show we want to maintain the attractive football. Moyes would keep us from getting relegated, and would solidify us in mid table. McKay would show we're broke.
-
I don't think you can blame people for praising our players for playing well... Why not go the whole hog and blame Pochettino for making them play well in the first place? OR we could just blame Cortese. Seems to be popular at the moment.
-
Still don't think we should be writing him off. Ignore the price tag for a mo - he had an average first season and this season has been difficult with injuries and Lallana's form. Lallana struggled last season but with a a full pre season with Pochettino he's become a top PL player. Gaston is much younger and is reaching the age where he will have a bit of experience to temper his raw talent. Anyway that's all off topic - I think Poch will stay. I can't see how the spurs job is a step up at the mo, particularly for a manager who's speciality is with blooding youngsters. Stay a bit longer and he'll have the chance to move on to a big big side.
-
By he I mean Lallana obviously - not expecting Ramirez to replace Poch as manager.
-
If he does go, then it's time for Gaston to step up to the plate.
-
Well we'd be mad to sell before the WC so not bothered just yet.

Put Sterling in for Chambo and I'd go with that. Alex is a CM now anyway. -
From a decent source?

Absolutely. Well said sir. -
Genuine question - why? What is his motive for doing it? Does he just want to be disruptive or is he looking for a way back in?
-
I am throwing money at this bloody thing. Lovren is the one I really want!
-
He was the first player's name I had put on the back of my shirt when I was a kid. All the best Bridger
-
I have had a feeling for a while that he might do a Puncheon. After all if we can't find a buyer it's in the club's best interest to get him on the pitch.
-
I actually think Shaw will stay - at least until January. Lovren to Man Utd is the transfer that I'm most worried about what with them losing Vidic and Rio. Marshall a definite yes for me, Caulker I'm not so sure about. Don't think he's that much better than Fonte. Would be a good signing if Lovren stays, but should he go I don't think Fonte and Caulker would have enough authority as a CB pairing. Also the possibility that our defence could be: Shaw - Chambers - Lovren - Clyne If it's true that the club see Chambers more as a CB
