I really wanted to them to come up. Good club, great city, good bit of rivalry and another southern team to further dismember the northern/London monopoly. Still, good to see Sheffield Wednesday back in the big time potentially. Always nice to see a club get back to the top after being on the brink

Just listen to the true Geordie talk about Wijnaldum. It'll soon put you off. There will be plenty of competition for Townsend but we should go for it. People call him a one trick pony, but when that one trick is running from deep and scoring from distance (something we are notoriously poor at) then I really don't see the problem. Can't understand the negativity around him to be honest.

Man Utd are **** but let's give West Ham some credit. We're always the first fans to complain when we beat a team because they've 'had an off day'. Hammers have been brilliant, so much energy. With any luck they won't be able to keep it up!

Thought his assist for the first goal today was just brilliant. He called for the pass from Martina, made his run, then checked to see where Davis was before controlling the ball and finding his man. Most players look up once they have the ball, Tadic does it before he even has control of it. Superb. I really think he is key to our attacking play. When he's on form and finds those pockets of space he really makes us tick.

Obviously very unlikely that they'll all go our way but would certainly make things interesting!

I didn't think it was a foul. It was a strong challenge but he got the ball first, and it looked worse because the pace Long was moving at sent him flying with momentum. Like everyone else has said, a good result without anyone shining particularly. Personally though I think winning a game without getting out of second gear at this stage of the season shows good game management. Why exert yourself when it's obvious the other team are going to offer nothing? I also love how Pellé celebrates every goal like a last minute cup winner. Hero.

This is dreadful. Bournemouth are playing well tbf, but as someone else pointed out we're making it easy for them. Could have been a lot worse than 1-0, need a massive second half. Stringing more than three forward passes together would be a good start. Mané has been shocking, I'd put Tadic on ASAP. Still think we can win it, but Ron needs to put a rocket up them.

Change that needed to be made. Feel for Yoshida but something had to be done coz were really struggling

Who knows? It really has been the most unpredictable season in the history of the PL. of course it's hugely unlikely, but I think there could be time for one more surprise. This season has been so brilliant, I'm happy to just sit back and enjoy each game as it comes rather than worry about where we'll finish.

Spot on. Strange that RK sees Davis as a better offensive option than Cedric. However we have plenty of creative and attacking players on the bench. Hopefully grab another 1-0

RK is the expert, but strange that he thinks Pelle is the first choice ahead of Mané for this system. Not overly bothered as I felt Mané needed dropping, but pace up front has been one of the key strengths of this formation.

Think it's about time we dropped Mané and see what impact he can have off the bench. He's coasted on average performances for too long. Austin should start in place Pelle to give us more up front. Incredible defensive display in the 2nd half - FF didn't have to make a save coz the defence was so good. Was clearly not a red card for Wanyama, but still a stupid tackle. Ruined the game as a spectacle for the neutral, but right now I don't care!

Cracking performance from Forster, and credit to Fonte and VVD who restricted them to a lot of half chances. If Mané could finish we might have nicked it, but overall a good point.

Should be Davis or Long. Throw Targett and Bertrand into the mix maybe?
