For me last season staying up by beating Sheff Utd - the moment when that whistle went and we stormed the pitch i was ecstatic. I was convinced that the troubles were over and we could only move forward shame really

When you say loads what sorta numbers we talking about? does it look like more than one channel?

brilliant so we'll definitely lose then. I was getting worried that something out of the ordinary might happen this season

Relax guys and expect it to happen. We need to stay positive. I totally understand that people are quick to be negative because of all the sh1t we have gone through in the past, but lets do our best to get behind Tony and MLT Keep the faith!!! -

Really hope this can be sorted out, I cant think of many people I would rather have involved with the club than TL - he has conducted himself superbly -
I really dont understand how the Sun can publish this rubbish - there is no evidence to support the headline! They have literally just made it up!

Fair point Art, but at least this way it feels like we're doing something to help! -

Here's mine: Dear Lord Mawhinney, As a life long fan of the Saints, I am writing to you with concerns for my beloved club. Southampton FC is not just a football team, but a central figure at the heart of a thriving community. By possibly refusing to allow the proposed takeover of the club you will stop the heartbeat of the city of Southampton. Surely your primary obligation is to protect the clubs of the football league, and you must agree that it would be a sad day when a club with such a glorious history as ours ceases to exist. I implore you not to make this happen. Yours sincerely, -
An international manager!? ****** has he! Unless its Burley...
-
This is really impressive, he must so busy so to take time out for the fans is great of him. Thanks Tony

Rupert Lowe with the shotgun in the duck pond?
-
and me +2 Dowie is NOT good enough to fight against -10 in league 1. i really hope this doesnt happen
-
I just wet my pants. this is BRILLIANT
-
Yep i agree, by my mathematical calculations I can categorically certify that we will be on one point after beating Colchester 2-0 at St. Mary's. What a day! I can't wait! I really cant believe we have sunk to this :smt043

TBH this actually pleases me because it shows the professionalism of Pinnacle. They've managed to keep virtually everything quiet both from everyone on here and more impressively from the Press. If the 'money' turns out to be someone massive like Rod Stewart or ALW (which still makes me laugh), I'll be even more impressed that the national papers have been kept in the dark I just hope that now its not an anticlimax!
-
My original thought was "GOD NO!" But actually if u think of his success with City and Fulham i reckon i'd be pretty pleased. at the very least its a sign of ambition on pinnacle's part
-
This is brilliant - top job Simon. you could get that sold in football league grounds i reckon if you pushed it. I'd pick one up from the megastore every week/month for sure!

what happens if Pinacle/MLT retain Wotte as manager
CWD replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
I like Wotte as a bloke and i do hope he sticks around in some capacity - but in all honesty as a manager he was pretty clueless. If he is still manager next season (which is VERY unlikely IMO) then of course I for one will right behind him and the team. Until we lose to Wycombe at home - MLT AND WOTTE OUT -
Norwich away with our luck we're likely to get a difficult game to start with!

LOL very good Wasn't he voted ugliest ever PL player a few years back!?
