OK i agree that as yet he hasnt failed, what i meant was that should the club liquidate then he should take some blame. However, my uncle is an administrator and e has told me that it would be completely unnacceptable in his company if it had taken this long

Hi everyone, I'm a drama student and at the moment im starting to write a play about the demise of a young lad through drug addiction. Its set in Southampton, and im wondering whether I should add the demise of SFC as a sort of backdrop to the main plot line. Even suggesting it as a cause for the drug problem. This would add a new dimension for the play as it would also be a commentary on the importance of football in the modern world. So basically as a bit of a distraction to the takeover sh*t, I was wanting your thoughts on a)the idea of the play, and b) what specific moments in the last five years or so made you feel the most depressed, or when you were happiest. thanks, CWD

I think Fry has to take some blame as well here. Not saying that he is more to blame than Lowe, Wilde or the FL, but at the end of the day he had a job to do, one he does professionally, and he failed completely

A true hero, not only was he a great player (and I dont use that word lightly) he's also a top bloke, he always made the effort to speak to the fans when he could. Truly hope he'll stay on, would be a great youth team coach in a few years
