Sounds good, AP says all the right things. I've been impressed with everything he's said and done so far Good times ahead!
-
The FP trophy final at Lords is clearly going to attract more people to London than SOuthampton. I'll be keeping track of the score but the cricket has considerably more at stake.
-
I'll be at Lords. Its a shame that they fall on the same day because I would love to have seen my two teams battle it out! Also want to see Pardew in action on the sidelines and see what impact he's made
-
Its great to see that people want to join the club, so optomistic now COYR!
-
How were they? ****ed off I couldnt make it! My mate and I stayed at the end - more out of respect to Ted Bates than anything else, and also felt a superb Ajax team deserved recognition. Im sure ML and AP wont be bothered about ppl leaving early - to get 22000 in the first place is a great advert for the club
-
Although I do agree Murty looked off the pace on saturday, I also think he showed a couple of nice touches and just needs some games tbf even if he only plays a hanful of games I think he's well worth signing up anyway. He wont ask for much and would be a leader for the younger lads and a good influence around the club in general
-
Completely agree. Rasiak may appear lazy, but there are loads of strikers like that - just look at Berbatov. If a striker is scoring goals then they're doing what they paid to do. end of

Im assuming it was because of his rascist post on the Jimi Floydd Hasselbaink thread? Absolutely out of order
-
But do we sing "Happy Birthday dear Alan?", "Happy Birthday dear Pardew?", "dear gaffer!?" Help me out here guys!
-
With a few players.... 8th but we could sneak into the play offs
-
I love Cheryl Cole. There are very few things I wouldnt do to her But i agree, i think its important that the fans know AP's view on her
-
Pardew every day of the week (although I feel we are somewhat bias)
-
Fantastic. well done to AO and NC this is a very canny appointment
-
When you think about it Pardew has been a lot more successful than he gets credit for. I guess as a manager you are only as good as your last job to most fans, but even at charlton he turned them around in the PL relegation season and very nearly kept a team with a poor squad in the league. After relegation that club was such a mess he never had a chance really He was superb with WHU, establishing them in the PL as im sure ML is looking to do. He was then treated very unfairly as the majority of Hammers fan will tell you. AND of course his record at Reading proves that he can get out of ths league The more i think about it the more happier I am, and the more i think he fits the five year plan being suggested
-
There was some talk of this a few days ago, would be happy with this but would not be my first choice. like Pardew in that respect
-
Im with most other people - would not be my first choice but would be very happy should we get him. IMO for a league 1 side on -10 to appoint anyone who has worked in the PL (with a degree of success) in the last five years would be brilliant and a real sign of intent.

Sorry if already posted but Henderson and Chris Perry were just interviewed on SSN. Nothing new really, I only caught the end but Henderson was just saying he had no idea who the new man would be but expected it to be a matter of days before an appointment is made. Perry just saying that the players were excited about who it would be, especially with the big names being mentioned. Anyone see the whole story?

This is interesting though, suggests that the club must at least have spoken to Leicester. Any quotes MB or just another "the echo understands that NP...etc"?

lol

So who's going to Lords for the FP final? I'll be there with my old man, first time at Lords and im looking forward to it!
-
Well i listened to ML and booked my tickets this morning. He is a top bloke
-
Just bought two tickets one for me and one for my newcastle supporter mate. would be hilarious if AS and/or KK were appointed then!
