for me it has to be RL (lambert i mean, not the other one!), and Rasiak. 2 proven goalscorers. Agreed there is a lack of pace there but with Lallana at the head of a diamond and pace on the wings in holmes/fish/new signing i dont think thats a problem at all. IMO two quality slower strikers who between them can head, hold up play, poach and score from range would be awesome in L1, altho i do think another pacey signing will be required so we dont start hearing the phrase one trick pony. Oh and although i dont think it will happen in a million years, if Beckford signs i will have to lock myself in my room for a week with a box of tissues.

We have got a good price for him, he has gone to a bigger club with world class facilities and a chairman who has the funds to give them a bright future. This really puts a smile on my face!

He looked alright to me, but its hard to tell wether Saga is completely up for it or totally disinterested - coz he always looks so lethargic! The problem is his total lack of pace. But then again that is a problem shared by the whole team

Totally agree with AP there, I thought he was a class above the rest. On the negative side if he keeps it up he'll be gone by January.
