When Forest went down, I always thought we should have played 'Show Must Go On' by Queen.

In fairness, Billy Davies seems to have been excellent so far with our own youngsters who have an 'attitude problem.' All this stuff about McGoldrick being a tosser, thinking that he is good enough to play for the Top Four etc... where does all this come from? He hasn't been caught nicking stuff as well has he?

Sounds promising. If this rumours true, then hopefully we're paying a decent fee for him. I reckon we owe you some cash after we sold David Prutton to you for £2.5 million!

There's a good chance that this is true. We tried to get him permanantly before he went out on loan to Port Vale, and we do have a policy of 'putting the Nottingham back into Nottingham Forest,' etc. His finishing might be poor - the one he missed in the last game of the season was shocking! - but what's his overall game like? Is he any good at holding up the ball?

It's a real mixed bag, and most teams know how to react to different styles. Against a team like Saints the opposition will generally try to frustrate any passing game and bring your own fans down on your teams back. With a well disciplined and talented squad you can rise above it, ala Leicester, but if you show any kind of weakness then they will seize on it and drag you down to their level. This isn't a pretty sight, and it's the sort of game when poor sides (on paper) will pull off a result against the 'big' teams like Forest or Southampton.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Personally, I'd much rather sign Dexter Blackstock than either (or both) of those two, but I wouldn't be dissapointed if we signed them either. Burger: maybe future fees for players forms part of the various bids being discussed?

It's been claimed that we (Forest) are currently negotiating a £1 million deal for both McGoldrick and Rasiak. What are your thoughts on them?

Do you mean Lowe? If so, I've no idea why he was invited.

Forest fan here. Hope that those of you who make the journey have a good time, it should be a bit of a party atmosphere and hopefully any trouble will be avoided. I really hope that there won't be any of our lot taking a pop, but then again we do have some morons with very short memories. Best of luck with the next few weeks, it's very sad to think that Sunday could be Southampton F.C.'s last ever game, but hopefully you'll pull through.
