Had to visit a customer today and my contact there is a ST holder (for what its worth) at Notarf I had to keep my mouth shut when he tried to wind me up about our debt and how being a fan owned club was the way forward and that they had enough coming in to cover their costs and some, poor deluded barsteward.

As one that used to stand on The Milton over 40 years ago when some of the songs we sung would be in bad taste today, IMO there is nothing original being sung all we sing is OWTS a few aimed at players and far to many anti Pompey songs.

Lets put another slant on it, it is an achievement but not as great as Bobby Charltons. When Charlton was playing he had number of players that could have challenged him for his position in the side with the likes of Greaves ect, because of the influx of players from overseas there has been a lack of English players to challange Rooney for his place in the side. But I have got to give to the lad he has done it but part of me wanted him to miss that pen last night and not break the record, because IMO Rooney will never be the player Charlton was in his day.

I wonder if anyone at the club is brave enough to put that up on the big screen at the next home game.
