Only Chelsea and Spuds had higher gates than us in all the English and Scottish leagues than us on Saturday.

John McGrath, Chopper Harris, Norman Hunter to name but three would have converted the cheating little toe rag.
-
Should be back to the 3-1 wins but at the end of the day any type of win will be good.

Still see Dalek has still only got one record on his juke box.

That was a bloody good win against a side who cheated and tried to con the ref most of the game trouble is the ref bought most of it, prem standard don't make me laugh. Snotgrass & Bratford would have been kicked up in the air if they played against some of the defenders back in the 70s, cheating barstards. Our all round performance was very good today from the back right through to the front, at times I did not think one goal would be enough (twitchy bum) but it was. Onwards and upwards bring on The Robins Tuesday.

And get a stop watch out for the race down Hill Lane:)

Morning Mike, I am sure the second word would be off. P

As Leeds will have a large following today I sure we will see the usual message that the North Car Park will closed to the home supporters for a period after the game. When are the club and the local police going to get it into their heads that in the interest of safety, the best thing to do would be to keep away supporters of this size and dare I say it with some supporters who look for trouble in the ground for 15 mins after the game so that the vast majority of home supporters have cleared the stadium area. If this had happened in the game against them from down the road there might have been a good chance that the problems after the game may not have happened.

A few of us went up for the Totton game and there was a cafe in a parade of shops set back off the road by the traffic lights, all day breakfast, toast and a mug of tea £6.75.

Will you go when we reach the promised land...

I have enjoyed 90% of the games I have been to this season (almost anything is better than the last two or three seasons). To us ML may look like a kind old grand dad which I would think he is, but at some time down the road he will want a return on his investment. So promotion to the prem in his eyes and the eyes of NC is a must. Back to the origional question I have followed and supported Saints from the old 3rd Division to runners up in the old 1st and back down again so why would I want to change my Saturday habit. -
No I am not, I might not take offence to it being Hampshire born and bred but some might. But back to yesterdays result, in the 50 years I have supported Saints I have lost count of the number of times we have gone away and lost a game everyone thought we would win on the back of a couple of great home wins.

That has got to be a ban or a major infraction, IMO you have gone way over the top this time alpine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off the bench to score winner against Leeds in a 2-1 home win in the last few mins.
-
Won't be a classic but I feel a hard fought 3-1 win is on the cards.

They are chewing that one over Jan:)

Make the play offs this season or league 1 champions next season.

Agree, but if someone said to you at the start of the season that we would finish just outside the play offs, get through to the 5th round of the FA cup and a trip to Wembley. IMHO most of us would have ripped their arm off for that if we think of the position we were in then. -
After reading that Daren it leaves with a warm glow.

I just want the status quo returned when they were in our shadow for the best part of 30 years.

Wonder why the depot manager at our Huddersfield depot will not take my calls or reply to my e-mails this morning.
-
I am looking forward to the short exchange of e-mails tomorrow morning with our Huddersfield depot efter the stick I got when they beat us at their place.

Just home we made a good side look poor Deano ran the show, they had no answer to Lambert and Barnard in fact they were out classed in every department. We could have scored another 3 goals again even young Oxo had a great chance to score when he came on as a late sub.

Another take on it is that they get a little longer to find some mug punter to plough money in.
