Just seen on SSN that he has been playing reserve football for bolton all season. Possibly a player to target in january. Most probably as a loan though! If trotman does get called back to preston then possibly ****tu could be one to ask about? ****tu and jaidi at centre-back...I for one would not want to play against that. If ****tu likes it here too and we get promoted then maybe steve wigley will do his old club a favour and we could have him next year to if not permanent then on loan again?? Please let me know if I'm getting carried away!!? The sky is the limit for saints right now so why not continue to aim big and try to get the best possible players available to us?

With our current form I can't see us dropping any points at all here. My money is going on another 3-1 win with lallana to score first. Hopefully the coach journey will be a good one too, looking forward to it very much!!

Just seen on a thread on the website there was a game for the reserves last night behind closed doors so connolly could get some more match practice. Obviously no-one went to the game but anyone heard through the grapevine what happened maybe??

Umm yeah, lol, didn't mean to write it like that. was mean to say how well pards has done in the transfer market this season tells me that is trotman does go back to PNE then we might end up with someone better perhaps... ...wasn't saying that trotman is not very good looking!!! Yeah maybe but going on what he's done so far and he's probably only good for 60 mins max right now he's doing alright for himself. scores in the reserves and then comes off the bench and scores for the first team and wins us the game! Going on the above evidence he for sure isn't terrible, if anything we will, when he is fit, will switch to a 4-4-2 and he will, if he stays fit, along with Lambert score lots of goals. Pards said a couple weeks ago that he needs a striker who can finish and one who would be the main striker so Lambert can play in his familiar role as he did for Bristol Rovers. Cannolly will soon be our goal scorer and Lambert will be the 'Large' from the 'little and large' partnership! Pards already said this about 2 weeks ago!!

My cousin picked up mine and his on saturday morning and going on the coaches too. anyone else taking the coach? never done it for an away game so wanted too see what its like! Really hope we win, obviously. Will be a great day out what ever the score. Just bring your voices and get well behind the team, cant wait!!

yeah i was gonna start a very similar post earlier...my feeling exactly. You need players like trotman in this league, no-nonsense, i'll hurt you today and i'll crunch you harder if you get past me again kinda player!! would be awesome if we signed him, he obviously knows how the club is being run and that were now a club on the up with a 5 year plan to get back to them premiership! although if we dont sign him i do feel pards will get someone better looking at how great he has been in the transfer market so far this year!! we'll just have to wait and see!!

I came down with 4 mates from uni for the Torquay game and thought it was utter rubbish...got taken off at half time for fish and thought we'd never see him again. Honestly thought he was the new Ali Dia and that Pards would send him back to Reading the next morning! Although reading reports from others about how he was yesterday sounds like maybe it was just a blip against Torquay...or was yesterday just a lucky one for him where everything went right!!!? Looking forward to seeing how he is at Orient in 2 weeks time, hopefully he'll come on a score a hat-trick and prove me wrong!! lol.

Got a mate at uni who is a Leeds fan, he says "its all about the 2b's, Bechio and Beckford" Not in my opinion, the partnership of Lambert and Connolly would be good enough for a top 6 chamionship team i feel. The way pards has worked with Lambert and made him a better all round player and if pards can get Connolly fully fit and injury free then play-offs are a serious thought, if not automatic promotion if the boys at the back can get it together for sure. Trotman...what happens to him? will be sign him or will someone else bigger and better come in!?? Could well make or break the promotion push, him and jaidi are a massive partnership for us!

Says first 1,000 sold out in 3 days and a further 1,500 available with 1,000 given and another 500 in a 3rd allocation of tickets if needed. so a total of 2,500!! Will still lift the roof off that stand though!! Going to be a great day out. First 1,00 tickets sold out in 3 days flat, then a further 1,000 ordered which are close to being gone, a 3rd allocation of 500 available if first 2,000 are sold. looks like we'll be taking 2,500 fans i hope in a stadium which holds 9,200...well happy aobut that, over 25% saints so should be extremly loud from us lot. COYR!!! can't wait!!

I think we have the best starting line up in the league for sure. every one of our players can/could/should be playing in the championship with maybe one or two exceptions getting a chance with smaller clubs in the premiership. I think we have the best keeper in the league, one of the best centre-halfs in Jaidi, awesome midfield involving Lallana, schneiderlin, hammond, Papa Waigo and even with Holmes when fit, also a couple players on the bench pushing for a midfield start...and specially with lambert and connolly up top with lallana and papa waigo possibly even playing there we have an extremly strong starting line up. Maybe not the best squad but for sure an aotomatic promotion chasing first 11 if not play-offs for sure! Dont want to get carried away from winning 3 on the trot but things are looking bright...a statue of pards next to Mr Bates maybe?? or even of Markus Liebherr for making this all possible!!

Great win for sure, was saying at work this morning that i didn't feel we'd win today and that we'd get a draw at best...little did i know eh!! Also just brought my tickets for Leyton Orient away this morning so cannot wait for that one, hopefully another 3-1 victory...or more maybe!!!
