Not sure if this has been mentioned but a pompey fan at work said that if the players are not paid by next friday the game against saints wont happen and we'll recieve a bye into the next round... Would you take that or would you rather play the skates!? Surely with the sale of Begovic and Kaboul looking like they are going through the club will pay their players though right? I wanna play them cause i genuinly think we can win...but we'll see what happens in the mean time!

Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints
Fergie replied to Somewhere In Northam's topic in The Saints
MASSIVE signing. So excited by this! When i went to MK Dons away in the JPT and he was the only player in their team i was worried about. I'm happy he's a saint! -
Any one know where i can watch these for free online?? Was in Madrid this weekend and missed the highlights and the match itself. Hear Wayne Thomas' goal is? Been told wayne thomas' goal is worth a look or two, any one help? Oh and the Bernabeu isn't quite st.marys......Grea to see Ronaldo get sent off! ha.

"i've got a shed thats bigger than this..."? lol. OR "World cup, your having a laugh" Cant wait to get there tomorrow, driving up around 2pm to make sure the M25 doesn't slow us down, couple cheeky beers from the Asda over the road and a look about Ikea before the stadium opens. 1-1 draw is what i'm calling, they score first though.

Almost brought a tear to my eye. Wouldn't expect anything less than for saints to help a fellow saint. Bings a new meaning to tha name 'family club'...were all in it together eh!

Is Fonte cup tied from the JPT and FA cup?? Heading to Milton Keynes on wednesday and would love to see him play!
-
Stock played for Doncaster today, played up until the last 10 i think, obviously not fully fit after his injury yet, and i think on the football league show he might have been the first in their line-up before kick-off, so might have been captain too but i cant confirm this! Can anyone else?? Looks like he's staying at Doncaster even though my contacts have told me otherwise!!
-
I think the exeter fans are just sick that he has left their club to be honest. My friend is an Exeter fan and he said he's very sorry to see him go and upset that he walked out of the club so easily! So maybe these exeter fans saying he's not good enough, etc are just saying it because they are sad to see him go. We'll see though. Good luck to Dan Seabourse, hope he shows us why Pards has faith in him. The future's bright, the future is the saints!!
-
This is exactly the starting line-up i was waiting for someone to put up. seriously think he'll start with this. wouldn't be surprised if he started with Seabourne from what he said on the OS this morning about it but think he's gonna want to win this game so will be a little cautious. Millwall have the ability to sting us at the Den if were not careful. 2-1 the saints is my prediction.
-
i'm not saying every game though, just more away against tougher teams. But we'll see, pards is unpredictable and i like that about him. But i trust everything he does. everyone goes on about ward signing and Seabourne signs...next thing i see jon otsemahoweveryouspellit signs. he likes to keep us on our toes eh!! So we'll see.

good point, and look what happened there!! So now no-one can say Pardew hasn't played with this formation. I believe he did it against Brighton too, although lloydie was playing RCB and wasn't his position at all and we got punished for it, although that game was a write off, not really sure what was going on with us that day. thanks for the support krissyboy!!

Yeah sounds like stimpson is accepting that something might happen with Jackson. This is the name i had on my lips at the starts on the transfer window, would be awesome and he's fairly quick too. be great playing with either rickie or connolly. but in pards we trust, personally think he'll get a midfielder and be done with it and switch between 4-4-2 and 4-5-1 depending on if connolly is fit or not!!?
-
My cousin is getting my tickets tomorrow morning...me plus 3 others. I think when people realise that a lot of fans are going to be going we will sell a lot more tickets. Same thing happened with Leyton Orient, everyone jumped on the band wagon a bit. After i got mine for Orient the sales went crazy!! We could have packed out the stadium that day i reckon! Dont think it'll be the most exciting game though, i've predicted 0-0 in the predictin league but i'd love to be proven otherwise!!! Can't wait for this one, to sing rain, snow or hail, win or lose! Saints are forever, not just the JPT!! ha. up the saints!

IMHO i believe the best managers build from the back and this is exactly what pards is doing right now. i fully expect to see a midfielder joining the club and it will be a Championship player i feel, pards wouldn't settle for anything less. I dont expect a striker however, i feel he's saving his thoughts on this one, maybe someone he has his eyes on it out of contract in the summer perhaps? thoughts on a postcard!! Thinking he's got Rickie, Connolly and Lallana can play there if needed, otherwise i think he feels Papa can be a useful addition up there, fairly hard to predict when defending against...scored 2 against norwich and scored against Exeter. Good player and easily adequate for league one to support Rickie and connolly...

With this formation you basically defend as a 8 (midfield and defence) and then attack as a unit of 7. yes the wing backs would need to be extremly fit but i reckon this would work...yes i am TOTALLY in agreement with 'if it isn't broken dont fix it' but i still think this would be good when playing better teams away from home now that we have a calibre to use this and the squad depth to try it out. I personally dont think pards will do it but be sure that i'll be first to say 'sign me up pards' if he does do it. There is no reason why this would not be a very wide formation with CM supporting the wing-backs...my only hesitation other than the fact he's never tried it would be Papa and Antonio...Antonio for sure wouldn't work in this, Papa up top maybe but we'll see. Was just a suggestion really. Not sure why we've only been signing ndefenders although i am very pleased with the signings. My friend whose a palace fan said losing Fonte means others will leave and even if they dont palace will leak goals even more now, and my family friend who is an Exeter fan said that Seabourne is highly rated at Exeter amongst the fans, the odd fan doesnt rate him but every club has fans like that. He was very said to see Seabourne leave and is worried about Exeter this season now, said he'll leave a big hole at the back!! In pards we trust...Up the saints.

Signing a lot of defenders and no attacking options yet do you feel this is gonna happen maybe... --------------------------Davis/Bart---------------------------- -----------Jaidi-------------Fonte------------Seabourne--------- -James/otsemabor------------------------------------Harding----- ----------Hammond----James/new signing-------Schneiderin------- -------------------Lambert--------Connolly/Lallana--------------- No reason why it wouldn't work, 3 good wing backs in the squad now, 3 solid midfielders with maybe another on the way, 3 solid centree-backs with thomas and perry to add to that list, lallana playing off rickie of connolly pushed up when fit...would pack the midfiels, defense would be solid and would be attacking all at the same time. What you think?? I reckon we'd be a force for anyone playing this formation, some may argue its too defensive but i dont think it would be at all. one box to box midfielder working hard, one defensive misfielder spreading the play, acting calm, and one slightly further attacking midfielder. Worth a try, although i do feel against most in this division we wouldn't need to be that defensive at the back...
-
That is awful fashion sense...C'mon jaidi...i'd expect the homeless to be wearing body warmers like that!!

http://www.skysports.com/socceram/media/video/0,21631,16145_5361248,00.html She's a babe...need her and Fonte's wife/gf (what ever she is) to do a special saints calendar i think?? Hilarious interview!! Edit: Sorry, no idea what happened there...this should work now, if not the video is lower down on the page...

Pardew the Seducer - Jose Fonte: Why I had to leave Crystal Palace
Fergie replied to John B's topic in The Saints
Looks like the work experience boy wrote this article after going onto football manager and looking at his club history wrongly!! lol shambles of a paper...didn't think they got worse than the echo! ha -
p.s i REALLY wanna see what this post said...any chances! think there are a lot of us who were not on the forum when it was put up!! Sounds so interesting!
-
yeah after reading our fans comments on their forum i feel ashamed. what must fans think of us...no wonder the leyton orient fans thought were were a 'billy big boll**ks' team when we were asking for more tickets down there. Some of our supporters attitudes stink. Yeah we might have money and yeah we might be finially on the up after a long hard struggle and yes we might smile more often on saturdays at 5pm now but that is no reason to go around and taunt others teams over our recently success on and off the pitch.

Pardew the Seducer - Jose Fonte: Why I had to leave Crystal Palace
Fergie replied to John B's topic in The Saints
"Alan Pardew managed to seduce me with his big.........plans for the club" Easy now Jose... -
Maybe the club told them to take it off!? I have info that the deal is going through but don't wanna say more than that...so get excited guys. Only stumbling block at the moment is agreeing the fee with Doncaster and the possibility that he might fail his medical...as far as i'm told everything else has been sorted already!
-
Excuse me!!? Was that comment really needed!? i think not! Thank you for your help, i have however found his e-mail in the meantime. Many blessings.

Been told work experience this summer would be a good plan for my university course (sport and exercise science) so was going to e-mail Mo about the possibilities in working in sports injury and rehabilitation for the saints on a voluntary basis in the summer...(pre-season, etc) Any help on this article would be much aprechiated. Thanks.
