Gutted - We dominated the 2nd half but wasted all our opportunities, trying to walk the ball into the net. No one was brave enough to have a shot. Plus the fact that the ref bottled 3 / 4 calls we had for pens too. Feels like we lost. Tough run of away games now. Utd, Ipswich and Newcastle away on the bounce. Our squad is so thin. We still need another forward too, Pelle seems to have gone off the boil but at least Mane wont be going to the African Nations Cup as he is out of action for 4-6 weeks according to Ron - No good for us though either!

Took my daughter to The Dell, Lower West, when she was 2 as my wife was away. Had to leave at half time when she wouldn't stop crying and everyone was looking at us! I think it was 1-1 V Villa when we left. I think you have to wait until they are about 8/9.

A lot of clubs have done lot of their transfer business already. Also unlike us no other team in the PL have lost 5 first team players. I know its not easy to sign players but as previously sad by others we should have had at least a couple of replacements lined up before we agreed to let all 5 go.

Fonte also made quite a few mistakes that costs us, againts City, Arsenal etc. If we want to improve, we also need to replace him as well. A good back up / squad player but should mever be a regular first teamer again.

Who are the 2 good CBs then?! We've good one who wants to leave and the other 3 are average. We need 2 new CBs ASAP.

But Fonte isn't good enough start either. Still need 2 new CBs as a priority.

I didn't comment on Sunderland's pre-season last year but it is a totally different situation. Di Cannio wanted to change the squad but we have no choice, we need to bring in 6/7 players or more through no fault of own.
