  1. That's pathetic. Should be 28k+ with 2k 'Wall, sunny weather, top of the league with 3 out of 3. Cracks me up that some loons think we need a 45k stadium!
  2. Even I'm going to this (perenial jonny come lately away traveller* that I am) £7.50 for the under 8's and only a 2 & 1/2 hour drive up there, will be back in town on the smash by 8.30pm - no excuse! * Except for skates away - ticket or no ticket I've never missed that one.
  3. As a proud Sotonion I signed it, hate the thought of those dirty scousers getting public help to take business away from our City that's struggling enough as it is - maybe if we had an inbred "victim mentality" we would kick up for of a fuss about it!
  4. Did anyone here ever travel on a coach run by "black Dennis" in the early/ mid 90's? Did Leeds, Norwich, Arsenal, Everton, Man U, Man C, Leicester, QPR, Wednesday and others over 2/3 seasons. Clive Foley used to travel up on them but as a punter black Dennis was the organiser (always wore shirt and tie whatever the weather/ occassion). Always a good trip to be fair, got there early - not many of the thermos/ tartan rug brigade either.
  5. Because in your previous post you state that you f***ing hate nationalists - shoulding the bolded text read that the French are "worse at it" rather than "better at it"? I'm a proud nationalist and the French (along with most other non-axis countries except Italy) do nationalism far better than us, unfortunately we are a nation of apologists that would rather we failed as a nation than returned to being a genuine world power as we used to be.
  6. Cracks me up the clowns caining multiple trophy winning players like lawro's opinions when we were in the Prem. Back in the saintsforever days someone went through Lawro's predictions for the season and if he was correct we would have had 10+ more points than we actually did. Embarrassing and thick.
  7. Alastair Campbell isn't happy, just replied on twitter that a lot of Burnley fans are angry about it. Great stuff!
  8. To be fair the people the people defending Southall were Seikh's (a hard working, peace loving community in my experience). Wanna be (and in a large amount of the time, actual) "gangstas" are black as it is linked to yardie culture. Their "workings for fools" attitude makes me sick, no such thing as "no opportunies", go to school, work hard, go to colleage/ get an apprenticeship and get away from the estate/ neighbourhood they like to call and contribute to being a "ghetto".
  9. lol these are not "crimes against society", these are filthy little hood rats recognising the Police are stretched so nicking booze, getting steaming drunk then going on the rob to get the sort of chavvy c*** they aspire to own (Nando's chicken ffs, JD Sports clothing, anything from Currys) for nothing. These kids don't watch the news, they get their info' from their mobiles (twitter, facebook bbm etc), they havn't got a clue what the reasons are behind the initial protest they just want free stuff and are prepared to injure Police and innocent passers by in the process. I'm really sorry that this isn't a good old fashioned anti-establishment poll tax/ miners 'esqe riot/ protest - it's purely scummy little delinquants ammusing themselves by going on the rob and smashing stuff up.
  10. Would you rather live next door to a banker, MP, Journo, policeman or feral hoodrat? The first 4 groups have made mistakes but the latter is violent. Never seen a banker, MP, Journo or copper throwing bricks, torching cars, smashing front doors through to residential homes or looting personally? Absolutely shocking analogy, still stunned you can defend these scum. I've got plenty of mates that grew up in housing estates as bad as the hood rats on tele that have worked hard, refused benefits/ gang culture that have got good jobs and families. There are NO EXCUSES to riot. No Dad - don't care, join the club Poor housing - don't care, get a job, earn some money and get a better house Bad school - don't care, no such thing as a "bad school" in 2011 Britain, rough schools yes but inspirational teachers at every school desperate to help disadvantaged kids Ethnic monority - don't care, appreciate the opportunities this great country gives you and take advantage No prospects - don't care - see above, loads of opportunities There's no "understanding" to be had with these little villains, the irony here is the "hug a hoodie" brigade that want to listen to them etc etc would be the first to get robbed/ assaulted etc by these vile cretins if they went on to their estates and offered "help". ANYONE can be ANYTHING in 21stC Britain, just go to school, work hard, be good to your fellow man and make your own luck regardless of your circumstances, fortunately 000's of hard working kids prove you and other liberal bed wetters wrong by getting off the estates, avoiding gangs and setting themselves up with rewarding and or/ lucrative careers. No excuses.
  11. Who "at the top" has done anything civil disobidience-wise that compares to these vile street rats? I'm absolutely stunned you can defend them by attempting to throw in some ridiculous class war fare and insinuating successful people have done/ do things worse but get praised for it - do me a favour! I work in London and have lived in Bermondsey (the last white working class area of inner City London that exists - oh and no riots there) and Islington where I'm come face to face with these disgusting under class ****s, the only aspiration they have is "hustling", earning easy money from street crime, drug dealing and theft. I've also worked with some of the kids from these estates, they've gone to college, uni and worked hard to avoid the gangs showing it can be done. No excuses for these scum, opportunities are there in London if you want it.
  12. Awesome deal for a poor mans Wallcott in my opinion.
  13. Are you for real????? Because he has managed a side that consistantly prove people wrong my qualifying for the champions league by playing the most eye catching football in the country and 2nd only to Barcelone in Europe. Because he has revolutionized the way football is coached and played in this country. Because he changed players attitudes to how to manage their careers. Because he has developed players like Fabregas, Wilshire, Nasri, Chichy, Gibbs, Song, Theo, Ramsey, RVP, Henry, Viera etc etc etc from "prospects" to genuinely world class players. I'm genuinely shocked by you saying that, and with all the drival that I see from saints (rather than "football" fans) on here, takes quite some doing!
  14. Completely disagree. He scored 13 goals + 8 assists last season in 38 games (lot's as sub due to bad luck with injury), some of which were taken with pure instinct! Arsenal fans here at work rave about him, Barcelona are scarred of him and he scored a hat trick in England's most important win since Germany 01 against Croatia. To say he hasn't improved one jot in 3 years is just plain wierd seeing as he scored 6 and had 3 assists in 33 games 3 years ago? Persoanally proud to see Walcott tearing defenders apart in the prem, champs league and international level week in week out when fit, a nice lad to boot.
  15. If the mod's "did their ****ing (why always the aggressions btw?) jobs" you'd be banned for the homophobic comments you made on here directed at me recently. Still genuinely shocked that someone with such a "Alf Garnett" view on same sex relationships can teach children in 2011 Britain, seriously what would you do if a confused 15 year old boy or girl came to you and asked your opinion on a crush they were developing on a school friend of the same sex?
  16. I was always brought up to hate them. Whenever my school (Wildern) played a skate school loons that didn't even like football that were expelled/ suspended would come down and watch just to kick off - brilliant stuff! I'd expect the same for any cup game we played down there. Anyone that doesn't live here (like those above from Oxford and Cumbria) are more than welcome to say you don't gate them as it's a city thing (bar some exceptional "expats" with strong ties to the city), ffs my old man refused to give me £5 spending money for a school trip to HMS Victory as he "wouldn't support their economy", he took me up the dell that night for a rumbelows cup game again Sheffield weds that I think we won 2-0. Oh, and anyone that has been to their pit ever for a derby match and has come back saying "hates a strong word, their ok really" is not welcome again in December!
  17. Would love us to sign Bridgey late on a free transfer and have him get an injury time winner in front of the away section before celebrating like a coked up psychopath firstly by jumping in the away end before grabbing a flare off a kid and charging up to the home fans with it waving around in one hand and swinging a corner flag about like a Viking battleaxe with the other! I’d want that missus of his Frankie from the Saturday’s to dump him publically for being a “thug” only for him to respond that he doesn’t give a sh** and doing a week long binge round his old Winchester hunting ground paid for by anyone that can get close to him! Anyway, back to work…..
  18. To be fair I can't believe the council allowed their place in Hedge End to become such a cesspit. Clearly not enough support to help them keep it up together, in fact as it was an eyesore to the surrounding area maybe they should be/ have been moved to a larger detached property set back off the road in a more rural location such as Burley in the New Forest.
  19. Remember being in the Milton End as a kid and hearing we were about to sign Lineker from Grampus 8 before the game only for the deal to have fallen through due to his dodgy toe by half time. Gutted, along with Gazza, Shearer and Le Tiss he was my favourite player as a kid!
  20. Are you saying they've moved near you? If so where's that (not the road name, just area will do)? I know they used to live in what turned out to be a complete dump at Shamblehurst Lane South in Hedge End, don't know their names as I'm assuming the kids are/ were too young to drink in the area but they turned their gaff into a complete tip!
  21. Started in about 93 I think - Ocean Colour Scene played (err, along with Gina G).
  22. Sorry but that's absolute rubbish. I work for a national and yeah, I know it's great fun to bash the hacks, say they make up quotes etc etc but it simply doesn't happen. Even the small 1 col 20 word "snippits" of transfer info ALWAYS come directly from the player, a family member (checked and double checked), agent, buying club or selling club- fact. ANY quote in an article has to be checked and double checked (or we get sued and hack loses job). I know you love the comfort blanket that is "it's lies, their making it up" etc but believe me, EVERY story us checked out and looking at today's quotes, he either won't be around next season or NC will force him to stay and he simply won't want to be around. For what it's worth I don't rate him massively, seen far better at his age at this club before so if he thinks he's big time get the money and let him sink or swim.
  23. Rupert's synopsis of his relationship with GB makes Cameron look like a mere outsider to News Corp. Brooks backed it up saying she met labour PMs far more often than the current administration and offered dates to the labour MP asking the question detailing her visits..... It wasn't followed up. Have to say thought she performed far better than I thought she would!
  24. My point is simple, Im nit suggesting fir 1 minute that he's not a hypocrite - Im merely responding to the tools that despite posting on a football forum clearly either don't like football (if they did they'd appreciate the outstanding football that wenger promotes that any neutral that truely loves the game should appreciate) or just not understand it - and call him: A pr**k A French w@nker A c**t As I say, embarrassing....
  25. OK, was hoping I didn't have to spell this out to you hey ho.... Imagine fir one minute you manage a player of the immense talent that Samir Nasri possesses. A rival top 4 Prem Club with limitless cash have publically and privately announced they want to sign him, do you shut up and hope your private assurances to the player are heeded or go on the offensive and denounce the comments made by the rival club and allude their reasoning behind going public is a lack of class bought on by their "new money" attitude. Ok, a few picky idiots on some Internet forums will notice your hypocrisy and pat themselves on the back at how much more intelligent they are than you but hey, if it gives you a 1% higher chance of keeping the player that ripped England to shreds in a friendly not long ago then it's well worth a shot! Now imagine your Nasri and your heads being turned by a new club up north that recently purchased the player you hate more than any other (a certain temperamental African striker) but pays huge wages. You love being part if the arsenal project and love the faith your manager has in you and the system but do his private assurances really amount to anything? Oh hold on he's gone public at City, fair play he and the club mean business in wanting to keep me. It's what Fergie, Jose and any other remotely successful manager would do. The alternative is "straight talking" losers in the ilk of big sam, pearcey and incey - hence my inalogy.
