  1. We'd be mad to sell him in the summer. Just because he doesn't cut it at Premier League level has no baring on his Championship creditials. Funny thing is if he was playing for a Championship side this season and had scored 24 goals and made 13 assists, most people would be saying buy him! We have to keep him. Could even make a case for Brereton-Diaz as well.
  2. Say what you like about the marking, but Ramsdale should be holding that let alone saving it. Such a weird goalie. Makes some absolute worldies but also acts like Bazunu's long lost brother.
  3. Completely disagree with this. I'd take winning at Wembley over winning the Championship every day of the week. Although Leeds will likely win the league, they'll also likely come straight back down too.
  4. Ah, that's killed the game for me.
  5. Get one back and we're well in this
  6. It is for this manager. Surprised Archer didn't come on in defence.
  7. Honestly if we just didn't return out for the second half, what's the worst that can happen? Fine? Take it.
  8. I expected him to tear up the Championship after some bright Premier League appearances, but he didn't. He didn't fit our managers style at all, so was moved on for a profit. The club have made a lot of mistakes in the past three years, but I can't say that's he's one of them. Just because he scored from 8 yards tonight doesn't mean the club were wrong to sell.
  9. Gave him a new three year deal in July, so 2027.
  10. And.. that's exactly what most level headed supporters were expecting today surely? Fulham are a very good side, who should be beating a team like us quite comfortably. Some people on here have extremely short memories and expect a new manager (who hasn't officially taken duties yet) to win his first game in charge, when we've won 1 in 16 and none away. Playing shit and gaining a point is much better than playing shit and being 5-0 down at half time. It's progress.
  11. I'm not sure what people are expecting. A 0-0 draw is a brilliant result considering what we've been served up this season. We shipped five a week ago without a whimper. To get our second clean sheet (and first away) will be massive for building confidence at the back. We can't run before we can walk. Give Ivan a few days on the training pitches and we'll start to see his influence.
  12. Thought we should've given him the captaincy last season. He's literally the only player that we have that communicates to others throughout the game. He's a full international with 65 caps under his belt as well. Hopefully Ivan takes the captaincy from Jack. The way he acted in the Chelsea game alone is enough to strip him of it IMO.
  13. I'd snap your hand off for a 0-0 today. First away clean sheet against a very good side and a point on the board. Massive progress compared to this time last week.
  14. Steve Cooper would be up there on my list, but I don't think he's who we'll ultimately go for, as SR will try to be clever. From wiki: "Cooper likes his teams to play with "good organisation and structure". He prefers his teams to control the game by being brave on the ball and confident when passing. Cooper coaches his teams to have tactical discipline; defensively, he prefers his players to regain possession through composure and aggression." He's also got a lot of Championship experience, taking Swansea to the playoffs twice and also Forest, where he won promotion. He's also out of a job, so that ticks another box. Getting over 11 points and moulding this team into something that resembles competitive are the two targets until the end of the season, so we're not asking for much.
  15. Just heard that Sport Republic have offered Russ a contract extension, to keep him at the club until 2030.
