News just reached me that the pinnacle lot are preparing a formal bid and mr fry has insisted on it being received by tomorrow morning!!!! get in there!!!

I'm going to contradict my earlier posts - I'm actually a little lost. I took the bull by the horns and phoned this pinnacle lot earlier and posted their reply. But I find it odd that the echo apparently 'deny' speaking with MLT about this. Surely they would have done some background before coming out with that??? As regards MLT - does anyone actually know him??? I'll go (back) to sleep when he confirms some substance to these speculative "quotes"

Ed In the nicest possible way, I'm not interfering. I happen to care passionately about our club and yes, maybe I was over eager by contacting them, but when people post links here to who they believe is involved I couldnt help myself. As for what is in the public domain, I think I was the first one to post the email response I had?? I agree its probably a standard response but at least they had the decency to respond. I am not making out I am ITK, everything I know I have posted. I have a friend who knows some of these and he has told me what I know. Sorry if you think I'm interfering, I dont mean to, just as eager as the rest of us to get something to smile about

MLT is part of the Pinnacle campaign (there are 2 clients for whom they represent - that was from the horses mouth this morning). MLT would be invited to join the Board in some capacity upon successful purchase - but the Guernsey guys are ahead of the game - worringly for me (From Fry), they haven't completed the full "due diligence" so I question their motives if they have no previous association with Saints?? Maybe I'm miles off the mark, but why would MLT support the other bid unless he believed in it, and why would they want him on the board if they weren't in it for the right reasons?? Too many questions. I've done my bit and actually contacted them today. Something tells me that the MLT/Pinnacle people will bid. They have my vote already, the guy I spoke to was very approachable. What a contrast to RL and his mob

:smt041 better idea - we used the proceeds of the sweepstake to buy the club oursleves!!! My sources also tell me the 'goons' from Guernsey have made a formal bid. Pinnacle were 2 weeks behind them aparently so they're playing catch up. I for one hope they do. One word, MLT - legend :smt041

Never is the answer to that. But don't forget its Mark Fry's call, not MLT as to who buys it. Having MLT as part of a plan doesn't guarantee his people/group will get it. But I totally agree, I can't possibly imagine he would have spoken publicly without knowing himself the probability of success??

What the creditors get paid and the remit of the football league are 2 different beasts. Its up to the creditors to accept/reject an offer for the purchase of assets they've placed in the hands of administrators. Unless I am very much mistaken, the FL cant deduct points if a buyer does a deal with the creditors

Summary (my guess for bits I dont know!!!) Farmer actually did a new website for Pinnacle, thats presumably how he knew bits and pieces.... Farmer therefore knows Lynam at Pinnacle Lynam knows MLT, not sure how but there are picures of them playing golf Facebook has a Lynam page - anyone his "friend" Pinnacle work with administrators SFC (sorry parent company) are in administration!! I'm going to email Pinnacle and see if I get a reply!!!

Its not.... I've taken the bull by the horns and phoned Pinnacles director. He wouldnt/couldnt confirm the clients but did confirm he was engaged in talks on behalf of 2 clients who want to buy the club. I asked about fulthorp and he said he didnt even know who that was
