I doubt this would be overly popular but I'd go for Dyche. He will get us organised for sure and give us an identity back. It might not be overly exciting for a while but jeez, it's a million miles from that right now, and looks like it's getting worse match by match.
-
I think McCarthy Stephens Moussa Redmond Bedanrek Lyanco Walcott Diallo Tella Ellounoussi all need to go, bythe end of next summer, but hopefully sooner!!!
-
I dont know about people but who knows, maybe he would 🤷♂️ I'm allowed some hope🤣🤣 Maybe he would help shift the sh** we have and we might attract a better quality of sh**!!
-
It's not the result, it's the team selection/formation and subs. Enough is enough. He is always experimenting. Ralph out. Poch in. Certain players out. Established striker in. Established CB in. No10/Winger in.
-
That rate gives us 44/45 points so probably acceptable.

I think part of the problem regarding level of fee is that (pretty obviously I think) the higher the transfer fee is the higher the salary is. Even though it was Reed who said it a while back (if I'm remembering correctly) we might know be able to afford one or two players in the mid 20ms or even into the 30ms but perhaps the jump I'm salary is too much🤷♂️ Having said that I do think we will sign a striker in the mid to high 20ms as anything less probably means "young" (again) or actually not that great; or perhaps "end of career. This next striker signing needs to focus entirely on quality for now and not potential.

Totally this. Would love him here.

The McCarthy bit is fine.

Are we in for him?

I agree, it is all about WHO comes in, but in theory I'm in favour of selling Adams if it's more than 20m. I'd rather keep KWP but for more than 40m it does change the buying power significantly. As I'm reasonably excited by our signings so far (although I accept they won't all, if any hit their top form quickly) I'm confident we would be stronger overall. Our start sort of gives us a tiny bit of time in a funny way ro get players in and get going. We do need to see quite a few sales and purchases happen in the next week or 10 days though!!!
-
What if Broja came in...
-
Happy to be proven wrong, but not convinced. Not convinced that RH sees it that way either which is sort of more important!
-
Adams is ok at best. If some team is will ing to pay 20m plus then I say sell, and if KWP attracts upwards of 40m, ditto. This is out model and for once in a long time I have the confidence that the owners and management know what they are doing. It's pretty clear whoever we manage to buy, even if it was 3 weeks ago, we are most likely to lose at Spurs so it's almost a free hit. Leeds is the start of our season in reality. But like I said, it all depends on who we bring in and how soon!!!
-
All depends who comes in.
-
For sure? Any clues?
-
I can't say I'd be happy if we sell KWP this summer but if its anywhere north of 40m it's probably a no brainer in all reality. I'd hope for 50m+ but unless a player is included I doubt the cash price will be more than 40m. As others have stated this is our model, buy young, relatively cheaply, develop and sell for good profit. If we stop selling then the model fails and part of the attraction for these younger players disappears. We appear to have some decent money for a striker and one or two more already. Perhaps a sale of this level will mean we can buy one or two more, and or buy slightly better players in the positions we need; Striker, Winger/No.10/, and CB. Clearly a RB and or LB too!!! Hopefully either way this goes its a win.
-
His versatility and real capability to play both sides should put his price at 50m+!!! But the media will always down play the price when a bigger club is buying from a smaller one and vice versa!!
-
Broja, Colwill and CHO in exchange and you got a deal🤣
-
It's pretty clear that Bednarek, Lyanco, Stephens, Djeneppo, Elyounoussi, and Redmond are not good enough and as such we won't get what you might want for them. I'd guess 4 of them will most go back abroad (which in itself reduces the price), whereas Stephens could do a job in tbe Championship. Redmond would probably be good enough for someone like Fulham or Bournemouth or High Championship team. I reckon we'd be lucky to get 25-30m for the lot.
-
So you think that Aribo won't start? If he doesn't, Ralph needs to go immediately. Other than for injury of course. Bazanu should but RH may well bottle it with Amc. The other 3 I've already stated aren't immediate starters for sure but ABK and Lavia should.
-
Thats doesn't actually make any sense mate, but if you're saying that none of the signings go straight in, you're wrong. Aribo 100% does, Bazunu for me too but I get the argument. ABK probably does. Lavia will likely be first choice very quickly. Mara a little longer.
-
The fact that RH has been trying Romeu and S. Armstrong further forward than usual suggests he has lost faith in Redmond, Walcott, Tella, even Adams. If we only sign 2 it needs to be up front acctually. More importantly or rather just as important is getting rid of 3 or 4 players, in order to keep the squad fresher (mentally), those being in my opinion, Bedharek and or Lyanco or Stephens; Walcott, Redmond and McCarthy (I realise AmC is unlikely!!).
-
We definitely need both of those, a CB and a striker. The latter will hopefully be more established than young and upcoming. I doubt we will get a CB as you describe as they usually only appear later in their careers. CBs are difficult to find for everyone so I'd be very content if Colwill is the one. Northern finished article but the trio of him ABK and Salisu can be the core for the next 2 -3 years. I think we need another winger/No.10 type - I'd like Hudson-Odoi or Cornet! And a loan RB/LB.
