  1. In relation to football in general and Saints in particular it can be viewed as depressing. Then again you have to tell it how you see it? As football is not my life then the depression is only relative to the importance that I place on Saints and their position in my priorities. Therefore I can say that I feel that all in all I am a happy chappy! Lowe is probably the best that we can do at this moment in time, seeing as no other bugger is either interested in Saints, or cannot raise the relevant funds to take over. I am just wondering what will happen if : A. This Youth/total football works OR B. This Youth/total football fails I'm not totally decrying Lowe either. I am no judge of business acumen but he does seem to be slowly turning the slide around. Albeit because of his vested interests which anyone would attempt! Historically he was not a footballing success for Saints due to the merry-go-round of managers. Some leaving for reasons that can only be construed as strange. Others being appointed for reasons that can only be construed as even stranger! I do, however, have an issue with how he comes across. Which to me seems arrogant and dismissive of anyone who attempts to put an opposing view. For me? THE. LEOPARD. HAS. YET. TO. DEMONSTRATE. HE. HAS. CHANGED. HIS. SPOTS.
  2. A. Leopard. Never. Changes. It's. Spots.
  3. Are they both busier than when I lived that way some 18 years ago? Can you answer? Or was that your third post? What's that squeaking noise? Oh! It's you Stu, you're so tight that you need oiling!

  5. Maybe he's so worried and stressed that he's contracted a virus?
  6. Perish the thought! we'll never hear the last of it from the resident racists on here, all saying how they feel for the poor thing.

  8. Deliberate irony? Nice touch
  9. Yes it is, I was alluding to the fact that with all the rain it was more like March than August. Obviously my humour is too obtuse at times.
  10. I just can't imagine her racist tendencies remaining undercover for very long. They'll get what they paid for!
  11. Counting the steps up the stairs, Lord! I've lived here for 3 years now, I know there are thirteen frigging steps but I still blooming count them!
  12. Very good!
  13. All my CDs (and there are many of them) & DVDs sit in their boxes with the label wording horizontal. When drinking alcohol I like to consume an even amount of drinks. Just can't stop on an odd number. I like to leave my steering wheel in a horizontal position. I . . oh don't get me started!
  14. I must eat less beans.
  15. What else did you expect in March? Oh! . . . it's August . . .

  21. Hmmmm, I might read those books also. However I'm worried that I may get more confused than I already am.
  22. Thanks for all the insults Scabby.
  23. That is blatantly nasty and I think he's lucky that nobody took greater umbrage at his behaviour. However, slimy though he may appear from that story, there has been nothing detailed here for us barrack room lawyers to judge him on. Nobody can decide their opinions of him in this situation without hard evidence. The club may have made a mistake, but without such evidence who are we to judge? Would it be true that the club, or any 'entertainment venue', can reserve the right to withold entry for no given reason?
  24. Come again?
