  1. Scabby, methinks thou doth suffer from inverted snobbery. Put this win, albeit a good one, into perspective. Derby may well be one of those teams that drops straight through this division and into league one! Crow about the achievements of the manager and team when the sun has set on a successful season.
  2. Are you being sarcastic or taking the mick? If serious then why did you post so much before the charge, knowing that you don't like 99% of the posters? A typical contradiction. You are so far up your self it's almost unbelievable.
  3. I'd rather not Jill. I have been told it's not for those who can think. A sort of 'Innernet Daily Mail' ?
  4. Hmmmmm, you've got a point there!
  5. I cloned a second willeh after eating pasties from Delabole. At least I have six inches now!
  6. Also one in the Swan Centre opposite Ourgoose (sp. on porpoise). Is it my taste buds though? These sweets all seem less full of flavour then when I was a kid? OK, I know I'm going back some 45 years!
  7. But bear this in mind mate, the rest of us here just know you are an old pro!
  8. £5.00 please?
  9. Are typos taken to include the omission of the one point step between a full stop and commencing a new sentence? Apart from when that new sentence in itself commences a new paragraph. On which occasion there should be a clear line and a suitable indent at the start of said new paragraph. Pedantry, is this an obsession?
  10. 16.00 and all's well! watch the pedants jump on the time anomaly!
  11. Que?
  12. It's all Bull Ox until it's signed and sealed. Till then? Do a TommacScoobyDavidLifelongMilkSunprancethingy, whatever you want to call it. Drink some chilled alcohol, chat to friends, drink some more alcohol, sleep, wake up, support Saints and start again.
  13. Garlic & Chilli Chicken, Pillau Rice, Chilli Chutney & garlic & Coriander Naan Chicken Madras, Pillau Rice, Bombay Aloo A Roast Lamb dinner with all the veg, mint sauce etc. Prepared by my wonderful Mrs. Strong cup of tea, made with tea leaves in a pot. Cider Most types of red wine
  14. I know where you are coming from with this. I'd love us to be up there fighting for promotion. The realist in me tells me we'd come straight back down though. TBH I haven't even entertained thoughts of promotion this season. the best I could realistically hope for is mid table obscurity. Cling to those hopes you have though, and I hope you can turn round next May and tell us "See, I told you so!"
  15. Far far too slow against my edit! But nice try
  16. As long as you state your opinion from within the forum rules, which we all have to abide by, I don't see why you shouldn't do so.
  17. A fair point mate. I feel for her and hope that if this is true then she makes a full recovery. It will not stop me, however, from viewing her as a racist in my opinion.
  18. There's no need for me to re-evaluate Jade Goody. She is a racist. And you seem to be an apologist for her actions. Most teenagers these days are fully aware of how to behave toward others, with regard to their colour, creed etc. Yes, you can say that I was racist in my formative years. It didn't take long for it to sit very badly with me. I couldn't make the link to liking Soul and Reggae when I was supposed to fear 'the black man'. It's amazing what reaching out and meeting / talking to people can do. Society, in general, is far less tolerant of racism these days. Any teenager with an 'average intellect' works that out pretty quickly. If they want to. EDIT: I grew out of my racist tendencies by the time I was about 14.
  19. And where have I ever said that, in my callow youth, I had not thought things like that? I just grew up and in a time when racism was tolerated in society. Perhaps, being raised by a man with 'Dago blood' I learned quicker than most? Oh! The halo sits well and causes no pain from carrying it
  20. Aaaah! The Glewhein, the River Inn at Bishy used to sell that.
  21. If I remember from when I was a kid, it's a herb based drink? As I got older I changed to liking the Cisk. Also 'loose wine' from the corner cafes.
  22. They only gave them to him to photocopy, but forgot to get them back!
  23. It's the men who carry the virus which can lead to cervical cancer. So a lady who has been totally faithful can contract it through regular sex with her, equally faithful, partner! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/3130008.stm
  24. It's not that she's not keen on Asians is it? She's a fecking racist that's what! If she has cancer then let's hope she can recover from it.
  25. I think she got more than one long neck!
