May I suggest that anyone caught by me, trying to harm my cats, should come with a gun, purely as self protection. You can't be too careful.

Nail on the head!

Whoa! Stop! and think about this. You want to make GeeDubyaBoosh a saint? Because as sure as eggs is eggs, hard over, then his party will be re-elected in a massive lurch even further to the right that will last at least two terms. Don't disturb the balance, at this moment in time things appear to be delicately balanced with a chance that the, apparently, more sane candidate may well make it to the White House.

Their foreign policy on the other hand . . . .

Hmmmm, but are you allowed to be direct in preparing a reference. It is a fact that a disgruntled employer could, I say could, use a poor or bad reference to cause an ex employee to lose a post and maybe, just maybe, come crawling back with their tail between their legs? Which is why I thought that it was suspect, if not illegal to do so? That only time keeping, attendance etc. could be mentioned? Of course there are ways around this in that a reference does not have to be couched in positive terms. "We have attached Mr X's attendance record" Then all they need do is look and then they can take it from there and approach the employee? I'm intrigued and would be interested to find out exactly what an employer can and can't say in a reference!

Brightened up when you departed. HTH

+1 here.

What I thought when I heard it on the radio. Can't say I'm crying in my beer over this, just a shame he had to die to stop his extreme fascist support.

To the point and a view I have long held. I believe that certain parties want us in administration to then pick us up for a pittance because they will have the financial backing to do it, it's already in place. Only my, unfounded, opinion and something that has been crawling around my gut for a long time.

Leon Crouch - a very successful business man.

I get the impression that he'd be first 'over the top' whilst the other two would be more like Blackadder and Baldrick. Don't ask me which one would be which, it really is that obvious! -

That, as they say, is the end of that idea then. Because if they haven't stumped up by now then they'll not be interested as we edge nearer to the financial abyss. -

With little or no say in what happens to his wedge? With two clowns paying themselves a dividend out of it? Meh! -
I'm still dubious about going with the youth although the idea is laudable (if not very risky). I'm not sure that Jan has got to grips with English football to be honest and he will need more time. Whatever happens is not really down to the players because, like the manager, they have been thrown in at the deep end. I reckon that Jan was 'sold' the job and the idea appealed to his footballing principles. Will it work? Sadly I don't think so.

A bit like our takeover then?

By that expression I see that you were hoping she'd use it. She's a lady of taste is our Jillyanne!

And yet another, very fair point. I met my Mrs back late in 2000. We are still together throughout all the problems which we have both had to endure together. When I look back at my two marriages (I know, silly old ESB) I realise that in neither of them was I in love with the woman. What I have now is a deep, abiding and eternal love. It flows both ways and we both work to nurture the love and each other. There are lovely women out there. I know, I have one sharing our lives.

You make a fair point Steve but I do wonder how emotionally battered a man might be before trying to do something 'spectacular' to draw the public's attention to his plight? In saying that I add that I don't condone their actions but, apart from doing the Bhuddist monk protest, what could one do? As explained earlier non domicile fathers are treated very poorly, if the ex so wishes! Mine faffed off to Leicester with a man she hardly knew (met on teh innernet) and could have exposed my daughter to Lord knows what. And all I could do on Nov 27th 1999 was smile through the tears and gritted teeth and wave goodbye to my, then only, child! My daughter, now 13, is back in Southampton (the big love failed) and she seems a total stranger to me. I can understand where saint lard is coming from.

Polio, Diphtheria, Tuberculosis. Yes, in that respect they had it good!

Let me guess, to roll on floor farting?

I understand where you are coming from but surely your statement begs the question why not? Surely the speed limits are there for that one main reason? We know that a collision between a car and person at 40 is more likely to lead to a fatality than one at 30. So surely one at 35 (I know we're indulging in semantics here) is still more likely to lead to a fatality than one at 30? The point is that the driver is breaking the law, yes I slip over the limits at times, but at the end of the day I would be breaking the law. Are we not supposed to be in control of our vehicle at all times? To drive, with 'due care and attention'? The minute we do not observe that care and attention we leave ourselves open to any mishap whereas if paying that care and attention we may well stand a chance of taking avoiding action? Not intentional = a manslaughter charge I agree but we make that choice to not drive within the law and that is intentional. We all know where that can lead as in the case of the footballer! Although maybe a grey area I can see it fairly plainly leaning toward the black!

That makes it ok then? May as well free the poor little scrote now then! He's. Bang. Out. Of. Order.

Ooooh! That'll get the scoobdanceanis on your back!

Hmmmm, I quite like that idea! Accounting for Leap Years that makes me 19.37 Birthdays. Happy Birthday Mr. G!

You need more than one to make a queue, and I'm wondering if we even have one!

Who really knows where we would be now IF NP had not been moved on and IF the RFDH had been able to not meddle and IF a few of the players who left had stayed? I just have a gut feeling that with NP here and AD in the defence there may have been better defensive displays. Hey ho, it looks like Coventry and Leicester may enjoy a fairly 'local' derby next season, but then we could also, at places like Swindon,Yeovil and even Bournemouth as long as they can overcome their points deduction and get promoted.
