Best here as anywhere else. I have noticed that with the last couple of posts I have sent that the timer seems to run as it loads but then I get an error message which tells me that it is a duplicate post of one which I have sent in the last 5 minutes. I haven't sent the post previously so I cannot understand why I am getting this error message. Any ideas?

Presumably some of us have not been there to vote? In all seriousness it's hardly a General Election in which the principals stand by that result! If I knew for sure that Lowe would go, due to that vote, then I would have gone across and placed my big fat X in the Lowe out row!

The racism? I couldn't equate singing racist songs with my stance, and upbringing, on racism. So you go figure when I finally worked it all out. It was an anathema to be singing and dancing to records by black artists while calling black/brown/yellow people names. Exactly! Crouch really did have no choice. yes he was King maker, yes he did keep us wondering but at the end of the day (when it got dark) he only had one choice. What did make me wonder, around about that time, was what seemed to be his ability to be a loose cannon. I presume that this question could be asked of anybody? Might it be that even though one might settle in a country other than the one of your origin you might feel an enhanced affinity to your birth country? Which may be the reason that we perceive other nationalities celebrating their nationality,individuality, high days and holidays more openly than we do? Do we ask why we feel the need to celebrate our nationality because we, as a nation generally, are rather laid back about things? I feel that we should be able to celebrate our nationality, heritage and culture without having to justify it to anybody. What needs questioning, maybe, would be the manner in which we do so? Remember back only a few years, how the crowds gathered in London to celebrate the Queen's Golden (?) Jubilee. I'm not a Royalist but it was nice to see all those happy, smiling faces. Celebrating our culture. Celebrating is one thing, preventing it from being hijacked by Rabid Right Wingers or Us Loony Lefties for our own political ends is another matter

A fair point and I suppose if we had a 'better' team that might be a viable option. No disrespect to the team but they are in at the deep end and floundering.

My biggest fear also! I know nothing but have had a hunch that Lowe (and his sycophants) will have their value of lost shares well repaid when 'someone' steps in at administration. That 'someone' is part of my hunch! I just can't help feeling this is all a manufactured situation. Which is why there is no split in the Lowe camp. Maybe, just maybe? Wilde may see sense and realise his cash is going down the pan, along with any say he may have in the future of this once wonderful club?

The trouble is that section 47 (I think that's the one) means that the nonces are kept out of harm's way. The inmates do sometimes get to them, witness Niellson and Sutcliffe. There is honour among thieves. I'm still undecided as to how to deal with these beings, half of me wants to exact such a horrific and terrible revenge on them for what they do to defenceless women and children. The other half of me, maybe call it my less emotional half, questions why we should sink to their level. Of one thing, though, I am sure. Once these beings step over that line and get caught, brought to trial and found guilty they should never, ever taste freedom again.
