Derby at home would be nice!
-
Selling 'the crown jewels"? Sure, he's done it consistently during his "career", so why would now be different? The "jewels" are just not quite as big as they used to be.
-
Skacel doesn't want to be here. Puts in no effort, is "injured" at the slightest opportunity. Remind you of a certain South American player we used to have?
-
Wholeheartedly agreed
-
That's exactly how I read it. Very refreshing to have a manager (oops, coach) come out and say it that clearly!
-
What do you mean "almost"? I just watched it 3 times over, and cried more each time.
-
Thank you for posting these! That brings back some wonderful memories. Reinforces why I am a Saints fan! I still remember the goosebumps (and some tears of sheer joy) watching all this from the stands in the Dell. Especially Keegan's scissor kick. Like someone said on another thread, that was the best goal that never was.
-
THAT is the one!!
-
No, I will happily give that credit too, but one match does not constitute success. It's looking promising though.
-
I just played some poker with a few Southampton boys, one of whom is close friends with the son of Fulthorpe. He told me the deal is dead. I know this is just "hearsay", so take it for what it's worth. (Wow, does this make me ITK?)
-
Details Will, I need details! What/when on the TV slot?
-
From the commentary it sounded like an all around good performance, and a well deserved win. Well done boys. After the match I met some Southampton lads here in a local poker room. A good time was had by all!

Last minutes Saints domination usually results in a goal for the other guys. lets hope we can hold them off! COYR

Lowe - "Once you get into debt, the bank manager comes into the club to run the team." Wikipedia record and various other sites. Just Google it Steve!
-
Lowe keeps telling us that "The Bank" picks the team, so they must have told him to buy players? LOL
-
Loan players cost salary too. Ru**rt and his treacherous sidekick will tell you that the bank won't allow us to spend that money
-
I don't think any major changes can be made. The guys are really working hard for it, but we simply don't have the experience or matured-talent left to make it in this league. They've been set-up to fail by Ru**rt and his sidekick and their "sell to satisfy the bank" approach.

Who would be your next offload to reduce the wage bill if required?

Same old sanctimonious git, aren't you? Uberfan professor, what a laugh.
-
yeah, the "experiment" is really working well isn't it? Total football becomes total annihilation. But hey, the bank is happy and it's pretty to watch!

Watch the panic to get Skacel and Euell involved unfold first-hand

Strange kind of support that is: You're accepting almost certain death for the club (due to severe mismanagement) because you saw some attractive yet losing football? I support the club, which is why I won't accept the current crud running the club, and will resist them with everything I've got. Many will call that "Fighting windmills". and it may well be, but I love my Saints and will never just stand by while they kill our club. -
I don't think for a moment that he is at all concerned with the fan base. He is only concerned with his money. He's not even concerned with football. Which in his current position makes him evil as far as Saints are concerned. Working "hard" is not a guarantee of quality. Working hard does not keep a team in the CCC. I really like and appreciate the boys for working hard, but with a squad out of which all experience and all the biggest talents have been sold (some even to our direct competitors) they have been set up to fail by our misguided "fiscal prudence", which so many of you like to quote at every instance. Just one more reason while Ru**rt and his treacherous sidekick are indeed evil.
