  1. Best memories? Not a specific action, but his attitude. He seemed always motivated, wanting to play for the shirt. Thanks Antii, you will always be one of the favourite sons.
  2. Wikipedia only has 2 sentences about him: "Diarrasouba Ousmane Viera (born 21 December 1986) is an Ivorian football defender playing for Romanian Champions CFR Cluj. He represented his country at the 2008 Olympic Games."
  3. Ru**rt will not give him long enough to recover the 50k he paid (presumably out of his own pocket) to get away from Helmond Sport.
  4. He's not being played because he sucks. He's not motivated, doesn't want to be here, and therefore squanders his undoubted talent by not working hard. He sucks!
  5. Ah, that's a new one on me! So now the number of visits to SMS determines how often one can post? How generous of you to let us even post at all! Thank you for your generosity:rolleyes:
  6. Now come on Alpine, let's at least admit that the sentiment expressed in the lead post of this thread is perfectly understandable. In a perfect world Saints would have a team with predominantly local talent AND be competitive at the highest level. I would want that. But unfortunately that's Utopia. The world isn't perfect, and currently the world of Saints is far from it. We have to deal with the world as it is, warts and all. For me that means that a rich owner who can bring in the talent that can have us performing at or near the top is a choice that I would prefer over what we have now. Others have differing preferences. Those differences make the world go around.
  7. Just as not guilty as OJ?
  8. Whether or not he is good enough to play LB, or is better than Surman, is all irrelevant. He has proven by his lack of effort that he doesn't want to play for us. Let him rot in the reserves if no other team comes in for him.
  9. You're right. It is sad when some so-called fans feel the need to tell others that they somehow take pleasure when the team loses. Shows a level of misplaced self righteousness I have come to expect from you though. In that respect you don't disappoint.
  10. Headline: " 'professor' makes another moronic comment" Oops. Nothing news there really.
  11. Good for Nigel. He's a good man. But it has unfortunately nothing to do with us anymore. That ship has sailed.
  12. Those are the two players who stand out for the title for me too. Of course Ru**rt and his trusted traitor Wi**e lead the pack when it comes to management (although the word "management" may be a misnomer in their case)
  13. Yup, as much as I think that he doesn't have the ability to deliver (although I very much HOPE he proves me wrong), he is very refreshingly open and honest. I appreciate him for that. Quite a positive change from GB. And hey, things could have been worse - we could have ended up with Paul Ince!
  14. I usually enjoy your posts, but this is one of the silliest comments I've ever seen from you.
  15. I admire his dedication, and have no not doubt that he's sincere, but he seems to be living in the past and is clinging to football methodology from the previous century.

    Boo Boys

    Right on!
  18. True to form Scooby!! Great wind-up. Dumb, but funny!
  19. Will we still walk this league? Ru**rt still vindicated?

    Song for Lallana

    Now THAT is nice!
  21. Off-load Skacel please, he's a very expensive waste of space in the squad.
  22. Now, that's way too complex for "professor"
  23. I want to express my condolences to the driver's family, and wish MC (a true Saints hero and a good man) a very speedy recovery.
  24. As opposed to the "optimists" who based their expectations on what evidence exactly? Lets just hope that the what you call "realists" (which certainly includes myself) are going to be proven wrong. It's early days yet, but so far it's looking promising.
