  1. If you think the attendance is low now, wait a few weeks and you will think that right now the numbers are astronomical
  2. Not giving him grief at all. Just expressing my genuine surprise at his turn around, and realizing how sad a state this club is in that it causes one with such support for the management, the experiment, and the system to hold up his hand and say "I give". Professor is a big man for being able to do that.

    What can we do?

No, nothing that we as fans can do anymore. I give up! As I explained in this thread (http://saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=2195), it's all irrelevant now. The deed is done. RIP Saints. As DP suggests in that thread, whinging doesn't help, and there are no more actions that we as fans can take to save this club, except pray that some rich uncle shows up.
  4. It's irrelevant. Won't affect the outcome one iota.
  5. I have just come to realize that from now on winning is no longer important! It is clear that we are going down (relegation) or going under (administration) in this season. Winning or losing individual matches is not going to change that, its no longer relevant. So there really is nothing useful that can come out of this season. What's that you say? Building for the future? Sounds great, who wouldn't want that? It is however a pipe dream. Think about the scenario: Suppose that we use the remainder of the season to build at least the nucleus of a team that can sustain us AFTER the sh%t hits the fan. What do you think will happen when that excrement starts flying? As David Armstrong said correctly on SaintsTV, even our slightly-better-than-mediocre players will get opportunities to move to other teams as soon as (or even before) relegation or administration hits, and they will take those opportunities. What do we do then? Play the 12 year olds? I have said before that Ru**rt and the traitor have killed us off, and I was asked why I would think that. This is why.
  6. There may be no "guaranteed benefits" to going into administration, but we can pretty much guarantee there are no benefits to staying in the current situation.
  7. No need to apologize for having an opinion. We're all entitled to our opinions, and entitled to change our minds.
  8. That is kind of a symbolic representation of our situation: Empty stands and the flag (club) is folding.
  9. Wow, you are the same "Professor" who for months has declared on this board that those who stay away cannot be real fans? The same "Professor" who said that those criticizing the setup and this experiment were secretly hoping we would lose? Wow.
  10. Just how are those results relevant to a Saints future that holds anything but League 1 or administration (or both)?
  11. This is a good time for some stress relieve: http://www.punchaceleb.com/index.php?top20=all#Rupert%20Lowe%20-%2033.m
  12. It seems to me that there are 2 choices: 1. League 1 next season with this "experiment" in place, and with Ru**rt and the traitor 2. League 1 next season with 15 points penalty, but without this experiment and without Ru**rt and the traitor. I'll take option 2, because at least then we have a shot at surviving, or even thriving, in League 1
  13. Pile Of S h i t
  14. They'll sell them 24 hours before administration (in a few weeks possibly) for a few pence, because at that time the alternative is seeing their holdings being worth zero.
  15. Yup, and another relegation struggle (if we even survive at all)
  16. Isn't the next line in that song "Always look on the bright side of death, just before you take your terminal breath"?
  17. Oh yeah, something like: Granted we lost. but it was good football, passing never goes out of style, they tried their best, enjoyable to watch, bla bla bla.
  18. Commentary on SaintsTV: "Rotherham seem to want it more". Weren't we supposed to have fixed that problem playing youngsters and this tota; football malarkey?
  19. Jam him in between the goal posts.
  20. But we are playing pretty football that people would like to watch........ oops.
  21. wow, it must really be fun to support a team that can win the odd game. I can hardly remember those times.

    Bart Vs KD

In terms of his career he may have "all the time in the world", but Saints don't have that luxury.

    Bart Vs KD

I seem to remember that at the time when we acquired Bart a large group of posters (maybe even a majority) fancied Bart to be the better goalie. It would be interesting to know if that has changed, and if so is that because KD got better or did Bart get worse (and why?)
  24. Some poor sod will win this "first goal" contest on SaintsTV and will be forced to go to the next home game.
