Mostly agree with this list. But the "ideal summer" for me would have to include a couple of more things: MoPo staying Reinforcement brought in for the defense and the front line.

Two things stand out for me in his statement as published on the BBC site: 1. Club not for sale 2. "He also recognizes the need to improve the perception and reputation of the club." I believe the latter to mean that he wants to establish us as a club that is seen by the "football word" in the same way they see Chelsea, Manu, the Arse etc., i.e. as a legitimate contender for domestic and international silverware, and no longer as just a provincial team of no real consequence (which I believe is how we are perceived by many now)

Game of 2 halves again, but this time the first half was by far the better one. We have a decent defence, a great mid-filed, and an attacking line in need of enforcement. If we can get some strengthening in the defence and 1 or 2 attackers who can be as clinical in their finishing as Sturridge and Suarez are we should be good.

A lot of comments on this guy here, but does anybody know what it is that he will actually be doing? What tasks will he be performing? It's impossible to judge his suitability for the job when nobody really knows what that job is?

Agreed, it is that team spirit that makes us such joy to watch. But i think the team from the early eighties had a very similar spirit.

You got 1 out of 3 right; he's a complete nut case, but he is not "an excellent talent" nor a "great player". he was one of the worst signings in our recent history and clearly disruptive.
