  1. BS!! The only thing on the line is their money!
  2. The money is from a rich man whose name is as yet not publicized. So what? Pinnacle has been appointed on his behalf. So what? Lurker? Too scared? Sure, how dare he not reveal himself! How dare he be willing to spend all that money and not be named yet? Doesn't he know that we will all condemn him for not letting us know his name yet? How dare he try to save our club? You guys are pathetic. No, let me rephrase that: posts like this, calling a man who's trying to buy/save our club a "lurker" or "scared" or as others have said "tyre kicker" are outright STUPID and incredibly disrespectful!
  3. Your argument doesn't hold water. They are proposing to spend many millions. They have already spent 500K. if they can't get the terms they need to make this giant investment worth it, than they will not, and should not, go ahead. Their money, their right to try and get terms that are acceptable to them. If they don't succeed, you'll get the whole cycle over again with the real tire-kicker (Jackson). That situation is guaranteed to result in folding the club!.
  4. Simple: Oh When The Saints Come Marching In
  5. OOh, you must be scaring Pinnacle now. You will give it another week? Wow, and if it takes longer you will support Pompey?
  6. If MLT wasn't linked to Pinnacle what would I think now? Exactly the same. They are trying hard to get terms that would be acceptable to them. If they can't, then they won't buy. If they can, they will. MLT doesn't change that one bit,
  7. To all ITKs: Just SHUT THE F@CK UP! Just let Pinnacle, or any other potential buyer do their thing. It's their money. They can do (or not do) as they please!
  8. Finally someone who I agree with. 100% right!
  9. That may be true, but that does not eliminate the right to APPEAL! If we were to keep that right, and use it, only to find the appeal is denied, than that's just how it is. But denying the right to appeal is what's wrong with the FL's stance.
  10. Thanks for keeping us updated so regularly Tony. It is much appreciated, and a welcome change from previous regimes. I also very much appreciate that Pinnacle is standing up for what is right. The blackmail being conducted by the FL with their insistence that you give up the simple elementary right to appeal is just plain wrong, and you are doing the right thing standing up to that. I just hope though that this situation does not result in an eventual breakdown of the talks. I would like to wish you the best of luck in these negotiations, and hope that an acceptable compromise can be found.
  11. Totally irrelevant for us to know who the money man is. I know it would satisfy our curiosity, but would have no other effect whatsoever.
  12. LOL! I am just getting so fed up with the conspiracy theories. Seems like the real word, and how things are done in it, goes right over some people's heads. Whoosh!
  13. LOL
  14. Accepting now that the club will not appeal the 10 points is one thing, but it could have much more severe consequences: By accepting the 10 points do we then not also implicitly acknowledge that it was the football club that went into administration, and not just the holding company? If so, that would in turn allow the FL to demand that the football club comes to an arrangement with all creditors (what was that called, CVS or CSV or something?). But because in the eyes of the LAW the holding company is in administration it is the holding company's creditors, and not the club's creditors that things need to be settled with. So it may not even be legally possible for the club to make such a settlement.
  15. This is frightening, but I actually agree with Cab Lungs!!
  16. What a complete BS post!
  17. That caught my eye too. I guess what Tony is saying to the FL is that the issue of giving up the right to appeal is an purely FL issue (and not Pinnacle), simply because it is the FL that is breaking the law with that stance.
  18. that makes perfect sense. Legal purgatory!
  19. We don't need any more proof of that. You have proven it yourself so many times over the last few years.
  20. Wotte appreciation thread? Shortest thread in history. That self involved, brown nosing, tactically inept plonker!
  21. I just set that image as my wallpaper. Looking at it I just realized how much pride the combination of these two would bring back to this club.
  22. Oh, sweet revenge! I love it!
  23. Correct. I think this is a great move. It takes away another unnecessary financial obstacle to buying tickets. We are not likely to sell out SMS for most matches, so there is no need for membership fees, and the club can always use the ticket database to determine ticket eligibility for away game tickets.
