Way back in the 60's (gawd, I am dating myself here ;-) ), while living in Amsterdam I was a fervent supporter of a club by the name of DWS, which was then then the second club to Ajax in Amsterdam. DWS soon merged with some smaller clubs and became FC Amsterdam. A few years after that they went bankrupt and completely ceased to exist. That was a real big heartache, and I never thought I would find another club that I could love that much. Then I moved to Chandlers Ford and my neighbour took me to see Saints. And there I was, falling in love with a club like I never loved a club before. I couldn't bare to see this club go under too, but I am sure that over time I will find another team to follow. Right now though I cannot even conceive of it.

GM; I commend you for the apologies. Your language has been very inappropriate to say the least. I do think however that the assumption that all will be well with the Pinnacle deal seems somewhat premature. We've had this kind of "all will be done in days" quotes before from them.

So far I have seen nothing that makes me believe that he has any more money than your average working stiff. The Administrator says he's from a wealthy family, but living with mom and dad in a terraced council house doesn't fill me with confidence. So I am looking forward to hearing from Tony and MLT where the real money is, and I really hope they have the answer.

Good news indeed, IF the money is really there. I would be very interested to see who really is bringing in the money and how much. It doesn't look like Fialka is it, so I don't understand what his role is?

I really hope Pinnacle can make this work. They did not do their public perception any good by trotting out the "money man", but I have to believe that the real money is there somewhere. it would be great to see Tony finally pull this of.
