That's a shame. I really appreciate what Crouch has done for the club, in terms of putting in his own money. It would be nice if he could somehow have a roll in the new setup.

Now that Oldknow is back, it would be interesting to know how his relationship was with Crouch during AO's first stint with us. Could Crouch be part of the new team, or was their relationship such that hell would have to freeze over? Do any of the ITK's know?

A really fresh start - no Wotte on the pitch, and no Oldknow in the boardroom - would be the best possible situation. Club greats such as Lawrie and MLT should be treated with the respect they deserve, and maybe be used in some PR activities, but should not have any official functions. A clean sheet would be great!

You may well be right about the "euphoria effect". I know I was "euphoric" about Wotte's abilities after we drew with giants like Eastleigh and Totton

Why do so many say on here that Wotte "deserves" a chance? Adjective: deserving (comparative more deserving, superlative most deserving) 1. Considered worthy of reward. Please tell me what it is that he has done that makes him worty of reward? I would suggest that the opposite is true.

Wotte staying (as manager or head coach) would be disappointing, as we have such a great opportunity now to get a proven and high profile manager. But that disappointment is insignificant next to the huge relieve that comes with knowing that our club has been saved.
