The match is not over yet, but they already have us at 2 points!

Our only goals this season are survival and building a team that can get us promoted next season. As long as there is a reasonable expectation that these goals can be met we should continue as we are. There has been improvement in the level of talent in the squad. There has been improvement in the motivation. There has been improvement in the level of fitness. We are harder to beat. Steady as she goes then!

Short memories on here. We were near death, our club saved in the dying minutes, even the few half-decent players that we had were sold. Given all that, and the fact that we have an experienced manager for this level, I think we are making decent progress. Would I like to see more wins? SURE! But we are coming from a very deep hole, and we are climbing our way out. I for one will keep the faith.

How nice is it to read all to read all these positive reactions to a fans forum on here. After the garbage of the last few years I could hardly be happier and more optimistic about our future. Saints fans apparently CAN be united. :-)

Ridiculous for a small minority (fortunately) to make these comments. There is real progression in the way the team plays, it is becoming more and more a strong unit, it clearly has Pardew's stamp on it. This has been a horrible time for the Saints, and survival in the league looks more and more to be a good possibility, in spite of the 10 point deduction. That's ALL I expect this season, and the team looks like we can achieve that. I say "well done so far" to both Alan Pardew and the business management of the club
