Do we look like certs? Absolutely not. With the current team all we can hope for is to avoid another relegation. I hope Adkins can turn it around and make some smart purchases/loans in this season. Right now though a mid-table finish would be a bonus

Happy that we have a manager who has experience in this league, but at the same time I will have to be convinced by results that he is a better choice than the man we fired. I live in hope.

If we get Adkins, and that seems likely, I feel like we traded an above mediocre L1 manager for a below mediocre L1 manager. It's all very disappointing

This change of heart by Cortese clearly comes too late. His involvement cost us a good manager, and I suspect that 1 or 2 prospective manageres (like Howe) refused the job because of Reed's originally planned involvement.

MON's appointment would be an awesome illustration of Cortese's ambition and a great statement of intent. Unlikely though.

Appointing Adkins would not indicate any great level of ambition by Cortese. But whatever you think of Cortese, we all know that he is very ambitious ....therefore it will NOT be Adkins.
