After the Argyle game I was crying my eyes out, and had to explain to my colleagues at work why I was sobbing like a baby in the middle of the office. What does promotion mean to me? It means that I will get a chance to see them more often, either on my own TV or in the English Pub here in Vegas. But that is just a very nice side effect of what it really means to me: that my club, my Saints, are one step closer to being where I think they belong. I'm proud like a new father!

Despite the loss, a good day to be a Saints fan, and although it would have been great to move on in the cup, I am also kind of glad that we don't have that distraction anymore and can concentrate on promotion. That is exactly what I expect. IF we can keep our cool and not react to the provocations we should squeeze a win by 1 goal out of this though.

I did not expect much when NA was appointed. I have not changed that opinion, and unfortunately can see us still in League 1 next season.

Such a statement should not be based on the result of a single bad game. but having said that, looking at the overall performance of the team so far, which can at best be described as "under achieving", I share the sentiment.
