  1. Heart = play off spot Brain = mid table
  2. Push for automatic promotion, but be happy with a play-off berth
  3. Win as big as we can. Even when up 3-0, keep scoring. Give the fans the greatest performance of the season. Who knows, by beating Walsall we could maybe save little Dag & Red from relegation? (if Dag beats Peterborough)
  4. After the Argyle game I was crying my eyes out, and had to explain to my colleagues at work why I was sobbing like a baby in the middle of the office. What does promotion mean to me? It means that I will get a chance to see them more often, either on my own TV or in the English Pub here in Vegas. But that is just a very nice side effect of what it really means to me: that my club, my Saints, are one step closer to being where I think they belong. I'm proud like a new father!
  5. Thank you soooo much for that. 8 timezones away here, and watching this made me cry like a baby!!
  6. That is pretty much my choice too

In the early eighties, I think the 1980-81 season, we trialed Tscheu La Ling (formerly Ajax) in an evening friendly at The Dell. We never saw him again. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tscheu-La-Ling/115176361826946
  16. Wow, we have us a real leader. One who "gets" it, who wants the best for the club and acts accordingly. In NC I trust.
  17. Quite remarkable given our history. Well done NC!
  18. Well proud! Excellent performance. made the ManU fan sitting next to me at the pub in Vegas squirm. Despite the loss, a good day to be a Saints fan, and although it would have been great to move on in the cup, I am also kind of glad that we don't have that distraction anymore and can concentrate on promotion. Nice one lads, you gave me some old fashioned goose bumps today.
  19. Yes indeed, Crown & Anchor. I'll drink an extra pint for you!
  20. YES!! Watching Saints in the pub Saturday while eating a nice English Breakfast. Life is good!

  22. That is exactly what I expect. IF we can keep our cool and not react to the provocations we should squeeze a win by 1 goal out of this though.
  23. I did not expect much when NA was appointed. I have not changed that opinion, and unfortunately can see us still in League 1 next season.
  24. Such a statement should not be based on the result of a single bad game. but having said that, looking at the overall performance of the team so far, which can at best be described as "under achieving", I share the sentiment.
  25. Is he living up to my expectations? Yes, I expected very little, and that's exactly what we got
