i nearly did in the operating room after the missus had her c section! luckily the trainee midwife next to me caught him with all the stress/emotion & after 3 days with little sleep or food i was totally drained & nearly passed out. half hour later i felt like i could run a marathon as i held him properly,watching all the fireworks going off round the Princess Anne ( born 5th Nov)

had the nipper in with us for first 3 months & had no problems with him going in his room or sleeping all night.guess we were lucky ! best advice is listen to others by all means but in the long run its down to the both of you how you do things. i hated people telling us we should be doing this or that when their kids were little monsters. just be supportive of the missus, photograph & video everything & enjoy it !

i'm not much of a fruit or veg lover but do make myself eat 2 banana's & 2 apples a day along with a glass of fresh orange juice. have tried to eat most of the popular fruits like strawberries, raspberries, pears & peaches but just don't enjoy them

i don't normally join in but find it tiresome the manner i which it this has been discussed. i agree with a lot of what you & Turkish have said in fact & believe that view point is the correct one at this time. i just feel that the initial discussions became very personal between a number of posters so the subject has been used to point score ever since. pity imo
