Agree with you. I thought the guy came across well, but couldn't help but think - why now? One chance to get some publicity before the deal falls over because the FL will not agree to Pinnacle terms.

Unfortunately there is no indication anywhere that the FL want to compromise. The backer of Pinnacle appears to have a decision to make. Either pay £15m and take whatever punishment the FL want to give or see the end of SFC.

Is Fry gives the Swiss a period of exclusivity - then Pinnacle don't need to walk..they are out. A massive call for Fry.

Couple of points - wouldn't this go against FL / FA requirements to know who owns the club? - if the Pinnacle deal goes through (a big IF for me) would the new backer want to remain unknown?

Every hour we move closer to NO....but I'm trying to stay positive at least until tomorrow. 2 pm tomorrow is my limit.

Now if we had a letter from the FL stating that: discussions are two way, professionally, frank, open and friendly. In my view, we are both working towards the same goal, ensuring that the right decision is arrived at concerning the contractual terms contained within the agreement. ...then we could relax a bit. But that is not going to happen. Only choice is to accept TL as being genuine and retain the hope that all will be sorted soon. Thanks for the taking time out to send a letter TL.
