How good a season is it that we are saying " We could drop to as low as 9th.... Gees last time we were battling in the premiership there generally wasn't too many places to drop down too - bar a lower league. If we can end up between 10th and 7th I think that's an exceptional season. Granted people are a bit down on the last few results - but hey overall I've been incredibly impressed with the Saints.

NOODLES: Did anyone notice Di Canio talking into his hand throughout the game when he was passing instructions to his bench?.....tad strange The commentators on Fox were having a laugh at this... Unsure if he was doing to make his voice louder or if he was trying to 'hide' what was being said. Had a good laugh at the contrast in managers in that game as well... Di Canio like a cat on a hot tin roof and MoPo the picture of calm... even when we scored he didn't show a shred of emotion. ( daresay it was proabably the least he expected )

Sure was a close call, but after several replays sadly for us I think the correct decision was made... could have gone either way and well the ref's calls didnt really go our way yesterday. Went absolute bonkers for about 15 seconds before seeing J-Rods face and knowing there was a damn flag raised...

Very happy. Good overall performance and a deserved win. Chambers didn't look out of place and our two new signings slotted in beautifully.... Great start to the season

Top Lad - Came and said Hello when he was in Perth touring Australia with Wolves . Called out wearing my Saints top and he trotted over for a couple of photos and a chat... I thought he always gave his all for us and like previously mentioned would be interting to see how long his Saints career would have gone had we been more finanically stable . Best of Luck Drew

Hmmm I heard it wasnt too popular around these parts.... or was that Golf We can always strangle small animals I guess the good thing about having another football code in this Country - as much as it proabbaly looks like a bunch of madmen running around like headless chickens, it's sure entertaining. I have to say though... this end of season is a killer... i have such a high expectation for next season thats im continually looking forward to new news on the Saints. WCQ have helped a little as well

Would like to see Villa go down but think it will be Wigan. Just hope we can pick up a win this weekend and pretty much put us well and truly clear of the relegation pack. - Feeling confident we are fine but like the post above have been following Saints too long to expect everything to be smooth sailing

I think we will be fully focused on playing our own game and this will have little effect for the team. An early goal, Some fantastic support ( as it has been all year ) and I think the 3 points will be in the bag.

Phew - As much as football is an international language I was hoping NC wouldn't be that silly. Well sounds like they all know each other very well. Here's hoping it brings even better fortunes for Saints. Now we've seen what staff he will bring it will be interesting to see if we sign anyone who is a manger fave from another or ex-club

It certainly has it uses though Alpine. Big injuries, complete form drops etc - unexpected below par performance in the league - all good reasons to try and get players in the January Transfer window. Im sure we have got one or two bargains in this window as well ( sorry will actually have to go and have a butchers hook to verify that ) Also I think we will do more then scrape above 18th - I think we will end up a comfortbale 15th which I believe will be a fantastic result for our club.

Wahoooooooo A good display by the Saints, a poor performance by Reading and an abysmal performance by the clown with the whislte. A must Win that we did and in comfortable style Should have been 2 - maybe more... But I will take that. A bit of a break and hopefully another 3 points against Sunderland Ahhh..... feels good

Dissapointed the goal was disallowed - Nothing in it what so ever. Ref has stoppped the game for some very 'soft' calls. Still - we have had the better of the two teams, a bit more effort after Half Time and I'm sure we'll get the 3 points we really need. On a side note , maybe I've been blind. but Ive been very impressed with J-Rod's control. Hoping he might pop up to give us the lead in the second half.
