Maddison is a p155 weak , that diving is rubbish. How are we not ahead by at least one

Super, super result, Really enjoyed the Spurs player ratings on ESPN, these were my favourites: DF Toby Alderweireld, 4 -- Was sold a bag of dreams with the goal, later was lucky not to give away a penalty and really struggled throughout the game. MF Dele Alli, 4 -- Came across as quite petty and the only time when he didn't look lazy was when he was throwing himself on the floor in the penalty area. Alli, really is pathetic, but if he never gets a yellow for diving he will keep doing it.

whole team was superb today. On the break looked like we could score everytime we went forward. Super super ball by hojberg for the first goal, and the boys worked their boxes off today. Special mention to Armstrong who was world class today imo. The only thing that sucked is that even at 2-0 I sit here thinking we won’t be able to hold on...

one of my best mates supports Brum. He is actually quite gutted at what is happening to his club. I’m thinking of getting a Saints strip with “Adams” on the back and wearing it next time I see him to cheer him up a bit.

100% penalty that. ?

Good friend of mine is a Birmingham supporter. Reckoned Gallagher was played out of position by the old manager, hence why he didn’t look very good early but when he was played as a striker he was a decent player and would have back in a heartbeat..... Gallagher may not be Harry Kane but feel he could be a solid player

What would Macca be worth ? 8-10mill?

I hear Arsenal are on the lookout for another slow cheap not very good defensive signing. Someone give Emery a call.

I think Southampton shirts with "Akinfenwa" on the back would sell like hotcakes, and i think he has more pace than Austin as well.

well On the downside, you could say we should have just kept J Rod, because he only had one ACL injury. but on the upside, at least it wasnt Saints that have had to have spent years with Ings on our books whilst he had his rehabilitation. There is no doubt that when fit, Ings is a decent striker, so hopefully we can get a season of Austin/Gabbiadini/Ings all contributing with cameos from Long and perhaps Gallagher, with no serious injuries to Ings or Austin. If this happens I think we will finish top half. Good luck fella and welcome!

i agree with this. As bad as it may sometimes seem being a Southampton supporter, imagine being a Newcastle supporter and being told that Rondon is the answer

No Mbappe too slow for Saints.... -
Would it be doable to get Hudson Odoi from Chelsea for a year loan? The kid is going to be superb, he is only 17 though and whilst I think he will see game time at Chelsea this season I reckon he would get 20-25 matches at Saints, even at 17. Are you able to even loan out a 17 year old?

pre ACL, would have loved Ings at Saints, but for me, a player is only ever rarely anywhere near as good as they were pre ACL, and the risk of a recurrence is always a worry. Nothing against Ings personally, would just be gutted if we spent the 20 mill or whatever it is on him and he went down again. -

Good mate of mine supports Birmingham City... Reckons that Cotteril was a terrible Manager, and kept playing players out of position, including Sam Gallagher whom he insisted played on the right wing. Once Monk was appointed and Gallagher played in his proper position, his form improved markedly, along with many others in the team. Birmingham pretty much did a Southampton, in that they looked relegated but changed manager just in time and somehow managed to stay up. I think properly managed and given a run, Gallagher could be useful but would not expect him to have a heap of game time, so he may opt to leave anyway. If the Blades or anyone else offered a decent chunk of coin, I would be fine with him leaving, as long as Saints look at another forward option (not Ings). -
Those pics look amazing..... Out of curiosity @jimmy_d , was that from cape Canaveral? What a treat that would have been......

Hi my young bloke just turned 11 last week, but between the ages of i reckon about 7-9 he had them on and off, agree 100% when you first encounter the night terror its such a "wtf moment" and his symptons were exactly the same. hearing voices , crying, screaming stuff out at other people who were seemingly talking to him..... the good news is the kids do grow out of them and they do not suffer any long term effects/harm, and we can do things to try and limit them these were the things that we were told to do/try and i reckon it does work. Generally night terrors happen because the kids mind is really humming 100 miles an hour, chances are the reaction is something to do with something they have seen on tv or ipad or something so we were told to limit ipad usage say at least half an hour before going to bed.... it stops them thinking about stuff night terrors tend to happen in the "deepest" part of their sleep cycle, so we usually found that if we put junior to bed about 7.30, then he would have one about 10 or 10.30, and then want to go for a pee!! so we were told to wake him up just before we think it would happen to interrupt the sleep cycle and make him go for a pee, it seemed to work. also, apparently when the child is going through the night terror you are not supposed to physically hug them or touch them nor speak to them , as all it does is prolong the terror... so the wife used to always tell me to p off out of the room.... anyway again i reckon it defineltey shortened the terror. cant really do much else and can 100% confirm they do grow out of them. good luck
