The Minsk Memorial Thread (and continuation of his work)
hans gruber replied to Minsk's topic in The Saints
Very sad to hear this. I never wear football tops, I’m too fat and old, although running the line today for my lads friendly match here in Perth I wore the saints top that my mrs bought me for my birthday last year that didn’t quite fit properly (should have got X-Large) . I wore it 10% cos I am pretty chuffed with saints last few matches but 90% for Minsk. Wouldn’t know the guy from a bar of soap, but really enjoyed his posts and thought he was a good lad, so very very sad to hear this. Hope he enjoyed seeing me from above, struggle today in the heat showing off my gut trying to run that line. Rip lad……- 278 replies

I've actually sent this to the Spurs fans that I know It made my day
-
I understand it was a little soft by Forster but it’s a foul 100% of the time. spurs are a horrible team and in my opinion didn’t deserve the win. well played by the lads. Super super effort

Ward prowse seriously that is basic shit why would you do that
-
Exactly what I was thinking, seems to have a decent enough tank as well
-
And jorghino got straight back up. Very very tough red
-
yep. Penalty and red card…………..

Wow how can you overturn that? He has been taken out deadset…. bullshit cheating all day long
-
I reckon he will go alright……

I would even take Holding. He is not that bad, but Dier no thanks
-
I would rather have Callum chambers back than Dier. Dier is no good

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester
hans gruber replied to ChiefScummer's topic in The Saints
I think there is a good footballer in there somewhere, if the price is right I would certainly take a punt on Ampadu -
Lets get Akinfenwa from Wycombe, our shirt sales will go up 100 fold 🤣 Also, bring back Victor Wanyama and Morgan Schneiderlin to prop up our midfield , only 30 and 31 years old. *not serious about Akinfenwa, but would be a novel way to get my son wearing a Southampton kit

It’s like his head is square, and the ball hit the corner of his head. That had to hit the target

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25
hans gruber replied to Over land and sea's topic in The Saints
Hmm maybe thats why they only got him to sign a blank piece of paper?🤣 Good luck to the lad -
lovely, even the commentator was was wanting to say what a f**king strike
-
I agree was thinking the same. Was one of my favourite non Saints players in the day though because he looked like a librarian that played a bit of football

Have we been unlucky with ref/VAR decisions in the previous 4 games.
hans gruber replied to allsa001's topic in The Saints
The VAR system is broken Somehow its not able to see a clear dive or determine a clear hand ball but they can spend 10 minutes trying to analyse whether someones finger nail or armpit is offside. -
BCFC have really been lacking goals so I agree valery will play midfield and probably do a good job for them.
-
Dear god , that was very poor goalkeeping.

Post-match reaction: Saints 2-0 Aston Villa
hans gruber replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Forgot how good Reina was as a keeper. Saints very good today, but as most have said, with all that dominance, should have been done by half time. still i am happy -
Refereeing reminds me a lot of like an under 10’s match where one of the dads has to referee, and to make sure his kid wins the dad pretty much cheats to make sure it happens.

Cedric Soares - Official: Loaned to Arsenal
hans gruber replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
My 12 year old sun is a passionate Arsenal supporter. Last week when I told him that Cédric was going to go to the Gunners he fell about the floor laughing his head off. Today when I come home from work, he tells me “ dad guess what? We got Cédric from you guys” I fell about the floor laughing my head off Serious though. He wasn’t perfect by any means but was a decent player for Saints and mostly did alright so I wish him well, although I think it’s a strange signing for Arsenal, in all reality though probably just a replacement for Callum Chambers so adequate enough. -
That was magnificent.....! Scoreline very very flattering to Leicester.... how the fudge that penalty was overturned I will never know, 4-1 would have been a fair scoreline..... Absolutely bullied them off the park
