can anyone tell us coutinhos goal ratio compared to Ramirez's?
-
as an aussie I think its my duty to go wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!!!!! ashes back where they belong apart from carberry and stokes who will be a superstar and broad who bowled really well. you boys struggled.. still 2015 will be a good tour. us aussies need to find a top 3... warner got lucky and is not a test player. rogers is too old and Watson should be at number 6

forget Julio golddigger cesar.... not what the club wants. would rather we wheeled out dave beasant or paul jones
-
BOOM Machine gun celebration! Love it. People who do not think he is world class well.....i'm sure they think the olden days were better. Chambers will be world class. Cork has had a cracker, shaw and Lovren been good too
-
i hope gaston can play defensive mid.....
-
oh and i think the midfield is slightly better. so exactly the same except different

yep only scored 4 goals for italy in 13 appearances, clearly not got the skills, hunger, passion for saints. get rid fwiw, and having watched him play only on tv i might add, i think he has shown plenty of passion, plenty of frustration too, i dont mind that, strikers do that, they want to score goals. i also think his touch is the best in the team . give the boy time ffs he will be awesome

There can be only one ...........

In 2000 i was lucky enough to get transferred for a six month secondment to my London office from Perth. It was tough getting away at weekends because I was usually away for work, but one weekend day i grabbed the mrs and we took the train down to southampton. i was determined to check out the Dell... Upon arriving I think we had to take a bus or something but when I got to near the ground, there were people everywhere, apparently Hi5 had just finished a concert... anyway the two things i recall when i got to the ground was how "small" it looked, almost like 2 sheds had been put up on each side of the ground. I was convinced it was the training ground until someone told me that was it... lol the second thing and this made me chuckle i still have the picture somewhere . on one of the ends (southern i think?) was a small wall with "Welcome to The Dell" on it. However the D had fallen off or been ripped off and someone had spray painted an "H" where the D was....

so you would be happy if we lost Cork? ok
-
more likely unfortunately that maybe someone like Cork will leave come jan window.
-
someone is counting on the "Mark hughes managerial midas touch" i think stoke are a solid enough side at home especially and will just survive the third team i think will be Hull pity, i like it when the unfashionable teams stay up.

Agree he is heading towards legendary status.. His reactions when he scores I think also show how much he loves being at the Saints. Love the passion. Although, and as much as I am not 100% convinced about Wanyamama going forward, I am not sure how much of the improved performance of the defence has to do with big Victor, unquantifiable perhaps? but in terms of what Vic and Lovren have bought to the team its fricken priceless.
-
Erm Thats my line
-
As much as I am not a huge fan of how Wanyama is a bit ponderous on the ball sometimes and his offensive passing (if you could call it that) is very good. this statement about him is absolutely correct. What would be better if we could somehow get a hybrid of the best bits of Cork and the best bits of Wnayama.... Now that would be a brilliant footballer. Victor Cork or Jack Wanayama? hmm
-
hmm could i guess get the ball and pass it sideways 15 metres 30 times a game? at least it would make some posters happy that he has a high conversion rate

Love the machine gun celebration... its world class... and certainly better than that stupid loveheart one that some players do. we really have the ingredients for a top season.... am pumped
-
would be an upgrade on Fox but then again, so would I
-
Seems like most of these answers are correct. As our record signing for so long, why is it that nobody seemed to have had such high hopes for Rory Delap. and just out of curiosity, if we adjust for inflation and the relative price of players when we bought him etc, what would have been the price we paid for him if we had bought him now? just curious.
-
haha what a cracker... love those strips too... would be cool to be playing in something similar to that again...
-
i think as most people have stated, has his weaknesses, but on the whole has been pretty good. I rate his season a solid 7.2 thus far. reckon he's also worth a few mill more than what we paid as well.... not that we should be selling him

it was a dive clear as day.... doesnt matter now but lets fce it...in real lefe maybe you can picture yourself as a left back. some fat striker is facing away from goal balls going miles over him.... any defender with an ounce of brain, and hey we all agree, shaw is going to be awesiome (well i agree with myself).. he's not pusing him in the back is he? its common sense... referee fail kraken fail off to bed for me then... i am dissapointed i think we did enough to win...... oh well i think we can take points from chelsea and liverpoo;l.... -

if someone said to me explain the referee 25 words or less. this is it.... closer to a gold mdal winning dive than a penalty..... we needed to do better with our chances. nice save by boruc though
