I can say with 100% certainty that i have no idea what is going on with that blog/website that tadanari lee uses. Will be great to see his full potential once he returns to fitness.

Pekhart will possibly be a part of the Czech squad at Euro 2012. Pretty sure he played in their play off game back in November. Seems to have matured into a decent player.

If he had made a decision in that instance, and either come out to challange for the ball and won it, or stayed on the line and cleared the header off the line at the end of the Portsmouth away game, I don't believe he would be receiving a tenth of the criticisim he currently gets. One moment has, sadly, defined his Saints career. In my opinion there is no excuse for the reaction he has had from some people.

At least one of these home games, I have a feeling, Guly is going to make a positive impact. No way to back this up, just a gut feeling. He may then do nothing for the next month but I'll still love him.

Have you ever dreamed you played for Saints?

The word would be 'dreamt'. Sorry. -

Such fine lines. Gulys first half header required a superb full stretch save from the Millwall keeper. Lallana hitting the bar with a free kick. A really fantastic effort from Reeves ruined by a questionable offside decision. Seemed as though there were several chances created, Lee through and should really hit the target, De Ridder choosing to pass when a shot from close range would have put the keeper in an awkward position. Barnard with two first time shots that have both been blocked by a defender right in front of him. I would be interested if anyone can detail what tactical/formation changes were made after Saints took the lead and before Millwall equalised (not much time between them I realise). The team really does not seem to have been settled for some time now, Chaplow injury, Fonte and Hooiveld not played together since Boxing Day(?), Lambert suspension, Lallana dip on form, cup games that have seen many changes in personnel, and now uncertainty around how to use new signings. I hope that Adkins can quickly settle on a regular team and that some continuity breads consistent performances.

What if......LeTissier is on the pitch at the end of extra time in the match against Argentina, gets to take one of the penalties?

Went to the Yeovil v Fleetwood FA Cup 2nd round replay back in December. Vardy played that night, scored the second goal for Fleetwood late on. He came across as a player with a real eye for goal, very calm in taking the shot after being put through on goal. Also seems very confident, bordering on arrogance, celebrating right in front of the Yeovil fans with a look on his face that kind of made me want to give him a slap, and I'm by no means a Yeovil fan. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, a lot of strikers thrive on confidence. The old timer stood next to me was upset that Yeovil were beaten, but all he could say was that he thought Vardy was by far the best player on the pitch.

I am conviced that Claridge is becoming more and more a Saints fan. You can see the conflict in his eyes. He knows he shouldn't like them, but somehow he just can't help it. It's ok Steve, move into the light.......

Guess this is what is known as a 'slow news week'

Saints games/moments you couldn't bear to watch..
leithsaint replied to saintmatt's topic in The Saints
Not nearly as much at stake as some of the games mentioned above, but the 4-3 win against Birmingham at home in 2006. After going 3-0 up before half time and somehow failing to score a fourth before Birmingham pull back two goals, then Saints getting a fourth....surely that is it.....no! Birmingham make it 4-3. The moment at 3.29 in this video when the ball lands on the roof of the net, for one horrible moment though it was going to drop in to the goal. -
Very comfortable, felt the result was never in any doubt. Around the 70 minute mark I just relaxed, even at 1-0 it was just obvious Saints were too good for them. We need a song for Jos Hooiveld, he just takes care of everything that comes his way.

Templeton can play out wide. Skillful, bit of pace, eye for goal.

anyone got any videos of the game......anyone? -
Watching the highlights on saints player, you can see after saints first, Connolly strikes a pose in front of the fans, but Lambert is just interested in getting the ball back to the centre circle, and Lallana is practically pushing Connolly back to Saints half. Love that attitude of, 'lets get on with it, still time to win this!'

Wow, and they probably put a matchday programme on each players seat in the changing room before the game! Best win of the season so far in terms of late drama. Great feeling.
