Except that they still bang on about their win against us in the cup with the team they couldn't afford, against our League 1 youngsters. If we drew them in the cup, I'd love it - and would totally accept us smashing them. I saw them last night, and they were dreadful. Derby practically gave them the tie - I mean, that first goal... it looked like their keeper had a tenner on the first goal scorer ;-) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I don't think the fans will find that their obligations to pay will be forgotten - the creditors will expect to get that money. On the other hand, the creditors won't get all of their money, otherwise the firm wouldn't have needed to go into administration. If the PST haven't got all the money from the "share" sales up front, that makes them one of the creditors who won't get all the money they were expecting. Could be a case of the boot being on the other foot. Interesting... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

...you have to wonder if that's going to be a £150k donation, or if those dipping into their pockets will be getting a bigger percentage of the club. Remind me where PST are with their critical shareholding these days? We know they've long since dipped below the 50% mark.

But they've got their own training ground and everything, everyone knows it's the best job in football, and there's not a debt to be seen. How odd.

Based only on my similar "experience" at Thruxton a few years back, you'll have a demo run to start with: one instructor and three passengers. Needless to say, try to grab the front passenger seat Listen to the instructor, don't crash, and watch for much faster cars coming up from behind ...you may well end your day with a quick demo lap from an instructor, which is great fun, but the instructors are really quick... by the time you've spotted them in your mirror, they're up your inside into the corner.

And good to hear the PST being demonstrably "open" and "transparent" in their interview with Solent about why MW resigned...
-
Exactly. I think that the chances of them getting a decent manager who can turn things around is slim: if PFC was an attractive prospect for a half-decent manager, they'd have got one when they sacked Barker. Or when they sacked Whittingham. Or Appleton. Or Cotterill. Or Grant.

I'm perfectly happy with them wanting to be like Derby. Dirty cheating budgies, the both of 'em. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

It's kinda like they haven't learned a single lesson from he last few years... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

No, I don't think so. They are investors in the football club in their own right. The PST is also an investor, having taken donations from fans to be able to buy a percentage of the club as well (which is gradually reducing as the HNWs pump more money in from time to time). The "shares" that the fans have bought are shares in the PST, not in the club. The PST has used the money raised to buy shares in the club. The HNWs have bought shares directly in the club themselves, they have not contributed to the PST. I think that's right, but I'm happy to be corrected by anyone who knows better! I haven't yet got round to downloading it, and I had been looking forward to giving it a go. IGN rated it quite highly, but all these problems are not helping it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

The Office? Surely the goings on down there are more like an episode of Soap. (Now that reference will sort out the old codgers from the young whipper snappers!) Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Hang on, am I just imagining things? I seem to recall that the Trust said they'd always have at least 50% ownership - or am I mistaken? Well, now the target is to have at least 26% - the first time we've ever heard mention of that. You have to wonder how many "ground" and "training facilities" improvements it will take for the Trust to dip below that mark. "Not many" is my guess. The alarm bells should be ringing for the "shareholders"!

Increase in player budget, promotion push, renegotiating contracts for players they've signed on long term deals but now no longer want. Time to break out Dame Shirley again... Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

No, they wouldn't. These days you really need to be aiming for a 2.1 class degree at least, which means getting 60% or more. 70%+ gets you a first... But you have to be brilliant or work like a demon to get that. It's not quite like getting 7/10 in a maths test at school! Getting back on topic, you have to wonder what marks PFC would get this year. I might award them a fail for results, but a First for entertainment ;-) Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Since his very first post match interview, he's come across as the worst kind of ignorant, reactionary manager who believes his own hype. It's almost beyond belief that they got rid of Whittingham for this oaf. You have to wonder if the club's new tactic of giving out jobs to mates is going to backfire... As Hatch said, there's nothing in the way of insight at all. They're basically just bunch of teenage boys on a jolly - it wouldn't be considered good enough as a piece of work for a GCSE assignment, but for something produced by "professional journalists" it's a joke. Sums them up, really.

Oh trust me, they do fall sometimes. I wouldn't put money on the kid from Southampton ever drawing his pension. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk -

Sat at my desk, on the ground floor... I still feel ill watching that! -
It's the local businesses I'm worried about - they could lose millions in income each match day. On top of what they'll already lose thanks to trade going to a new supermarket. Oh, and debts being paid back at 0.02p in the pound. PFC: stitching up small businesses left, right and centre. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

And let's face it, they don't tend to have the brightest fans at the best of times. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

I'd like Charlton (4), Wednesday (, or Sheffield United (16) (if they beat Fulham). At home, naturally. I'd rather have Charlton or Wednesday than (6): Forest are going well in the Championship, and Preston are doing well in League 1. To be honest, I'd be happy with any tie, home or away, if we avoided the likes of City (13), Liverpool (14), Everton (10), Arsenal (9) & Chelsea (12).
