  1. When you see the goal, watch Tadanari turn round and leg it like a bullet away in celebration - there isn't much of it shown, but he looks like he's never gonna stop!!
  2. FFS Neil, how many times do I have to show you the celebration dance.....You put your left hand in......
  3. Does anyone have any recommendations for pubs to watch the game tonight near the General hospital - I have to try to fit the game in around their visiting hours.
  4. SSN have a special feature called "The Taxmans war on football" at 7:30 tonight - I doubt whether they will discuss the blue few much though, they seem to focus on Rangers (aka the blue many, perhaps!) on this subject much more.
  5. When we're already 8 nil up and their "one" relegates the blue few on GD? Incidentally, 17.5K (including about 3K Leeds) "packed the park" today - they don't deserve a team at all.
  6. Throw the dice. Where ever you land, completely ignore the seriousness of your situation and ask the person to your left what the situation is regarding buying a player. If you've thrown a number greater than 1, ask all other persons playing whether they have a Premier League has-been who eats squirrels (copyright RallyBoy) to loan you for free. Keep throwing, keep asking.
  7. There's a bug in that software - look at the Avg Att ffs. Still, it does demonstrate that these things are pure fantasy.
  8. hmmmm, just looked at Brums next 4 games and if we were playing their oppo in those 4 games, I'd fancy us to win all 4.......
  9. This has also got to take its toll on their players in some way too in future games. That's a lot of time making up for an extra man.
  10. As far as I'm concerned, West Ham can win the league by a country mile, so long as we finish second. A win for them takes points off a challenger for one of the two auto spots. Given where we are now, I just want us to get over that line and not have the uncertainty of a play off.
  11. Highlights now up: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01cj1sh/The_Football_League_Show_2011_2012_18_02_2012/ Saints bit is at 20:00, and Claridge talks about the blue few slightly before.
  12. Goals about to come on on SSN....
  13. A bit previous, as they say, but worth tucking away for when it eventually comes round. Have they started locking people out of the park, due to it being packed by the bestest yet?
  14. In terms of support, they average more than we do at home (nearly 35K) and take more away (http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?35192-Football-League-Away-Support-Stats&highlight=attendance), won the cup 3 times and a Cup Winners Cup. I wouldn't personally put that in the "big" category, but it stands up well against us if you're honest. In terms of players produced in recent times, we've both got records to be proud of. I think we'll both go up this season, but I'd rather be us than them if that happens, if they keep up that is!!! :^)
  15. Cheers - still doesn't seem to be up on the BBC site for some reason. For those asking about the offside goal, if you stop it at 1:44 in, you can see that DC had just drifted offside - the lino is in line with the last defender as you can see from the pitch markings. Looks like we can go into Tuesdays game full of confidence.
  16. There will be commentary on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra tomorrow evening, apparently.
  17. Nige, pull up the current league table on your iphone and show it to the starting XI, ta. :^)
  18. Hopefully D'Urso will be the ref for them on Saturday, then. How funny would that be.
  19. As England play Scotland in the 6 nations at 17:00 on Saturday, it might be worth checking with your local landlord first if you plan on watching this in the pub.
  20. ok, I'll do it. Massive game, given they are 5 points behind us with a game in hand. Cardiff/Blackpool and WHam/Millwall make it an interesting day. I think we'll spring a surprise up there - 2-1 saints.
  21. From the Posh web site: Attendance: 7,555 (1,276 Portsmouth fans). Lets see what they've got next Saturday, being bestest and all that.
  22. Blackpool/Sheff Weds was also a draw.
  23. Interesting, that. At some point, if and when we go up, that whole planning basis goes up. We can't moan about the blue few paying Xk a week and then moan at Nicola when he doesn't. It's a fine line between panic buy and shrew business, and the're dammed if they do.....
  24. Now online: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01b4j8v/The_Football_League_Show_2011_2012_14_01_2012/
  25. The sending off today is also a benefit to WHam, as they are playing Forest at home next week. Looking at the other Saturday games, Cardiff are at home to the Blue Few and Boro away to Coventry - so I'd expect all those results to go against us. Hull at home to Peterborough could go either way and Brum are at home to Watford, again I'd expect that to be a home win. Hopefully, I'll be wrong and we'll get a few surprises, but the table could look quite tight this time next week, before we play.
